ブダペストフードツアー（8＋試飲＆地元ワイン付き）

This tour was overpriced and was not as described. I paid over €196 for two people. The description of the tour said a beer and a glass of red or white wine were included. Beer was offered at the second stop. I don’t drink beer and the alternative was water. At the fourth stop, I was told I could only have wine if I paid extra for the alcohol package. I suggested that I’d pay for a glass at the bar. Zoltan the guide said it would be better to buy the package from him. We agreed and at the end of the tasting when I proffered a credit card, he said he wanted cash. I only had 5000 HUF in cash which I had brought specifically in order to give a gratuity to him. I never carry cash. This was not enough and another tour participant (a stranger to me) made up the balance of my bill. This was not only humiliating but extremely embarrassing and it made the entire experience very unpleasant and uncomfortable for me. I was the recipient of ‘charity’ yet it was Zoltan who benefited.

Zolan the Hun was a great tour guide. He gave us a lot of history and took us to local places. The food choices were delicious. Would highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I spent a fantastic few hours with guide, “Zoltan the Hun” (we were the only two who signed up, so we had the pleasure of a private tour). It was the highlight of our trip to Budapest. First the food - wow! So delicious! We were able to experience authentic Hungarian food as if we were locals. We couldn’t begin to eat it all, though we wanted to. The best part of the tour, however, was Zoltan himself. In addition to being a wealth of knowledge about the food, culture, and history of Budapest, he is a true and fascinating character. He shared so many personal stories with us that we left as friends who will hopefully keep in touch. I highly encourage you to book this tour with Zoltan. He is a treasure!

We had a really great day with Zoltan - he is so knowledgeable about food and Budapest - he told us it would be a chalenge to eat it all and it was- but delicious and gave us a real feel of Hungarian Food

Fantastic tour with great food and impressive stories. Zoltan was very wise and had a lot to say about the city and what life was like there in the past. He also had very funny and sharp jokes. I would definitely recommend it!
