ジャン タロン マーケットは、農産物、肉、チーズ、魚、焼き菓子などを販売する多くの業者が集まる、定評のある屋外ファーマーズ マーケットです。モントリオール最大のマーケットであり、北米でも最大級の屋外マーケットの 1 つです。
20 世紀初頭に建設された歴史ある消防署で、モントリオールの消防サービスの重要な部分を担っていました。建物自体は建築の逸品で、独特の赤レンガのファサードとクラシックなデザインは当時の市民の誇りを反映しています。
リトル イタリーは、モントリオールの中心部にある魅力的な住宅街で、昔ながらのカフェ、ピザ屋、イタリアの食料品店、伝統的なパン屋が立ち並んでいます。その起源は、イタリアからの移民がモントリオールに押し寄せ、この地域に定住した 19 世紀後半から 20 世紀初頭にまで遡ります。
活気に満ちた老舗のイタリア食料品店で、チーズ、肉、パン、惣菜などが揃っています。大都市の真の歴史的施設である Fruiterie Milano は、60 年以上にわたりモントリオールの人々にサービスを提供し、観光客を魅了してきました。
1910年から1927年にかけて建設されたモントリオールの旧サン・ジャン・ド・ラ・クロワ教会は、2003年に部分的に取り壊され、建築家アルフォンス・グラットンが設計した同様の容積のアパートに置き換えられました。
プティット・イタリー公園は、リラックスしたり、自然の景色を楽しんだり、アウトドア アクティビティを楽しんだりできる公園です。1963 年 6 月 26 日にオープンしたこの場所は、すぐにプティット・イタリーの中心地となりました。この公園は、カナダ最大のイタリア人コミュニティがモントリオールの発展と富に貢献したことを象徴しています。

This was a high quality tour. It paired fantastic food with an interesting knowledge of the history of Montreal . No one left hungry . I would highly recommend it .
Eric was a spectacular guide to the history, culture and of course the food. the focacia sandwiches were the best
Tour was cancelled , then confirmed four times after cancellation. The cancellation was hidden in three other emails—and followed by four other emails, texts, and the ticket itself all confirming. I travel all the time, and I’ve never had such bad communication. We went on our own to the market, since we were already on our way. Do better!

We had an absolutely amazing time on this three-hour food tour. Our guide, Lucas, was great: knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the neighborhoods of Little Italy and Jean Talon Market. The tastings were diverse and well-chosen. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience Montreal’s culinary scene with a local touch.
