Best comprehensive tour of Madeira, especially if you have Guilherme as your driver/guide. We greatly enjoyed the stops, views, and conversation with him. Definitely worth the time and cost. Highly recommend it and him!!

Luis was amazing! We had the best time touring this gorgeous island! Luis is extremely knowledgeable about the island and is willing to offer help and suggestions on what to do and where to eat/drink. The best day we've had in our 2 week Portugal vacation! If you come to Madeira, do this tour!

We booked a private tour several weeks ago and had confirmation from them. The afternoon before we had an email advising there would be 4 on our ‘private’ trip. We were surprised but agreed. Unfortunately the other couple refused as wanted the ‘private’ trip we had both booked. Trip Advisor then emailed us to say our trip ( the next day) was cancelled!!!! We contacted the tour company who advised we could rebook it with them for same day but for MORE money!!!! Why did they confirm both bookings as ‘private’ then expect us both to accept it was for 4? Why then offer us the same tour but for more money? When I emailed them saying I thought this was a scam and would give them an honest review, they apologised and offered a price reduction!!! Very bad experience and very stressful!

In the uncertainty of having booked the tours, I contacted Ilha Tours directly and was super well attended to by Rebeca, who gave me all the guidance I needed. Regarding the tours, we were happy to have Benjamim as a guide. A young man with an impeccable education, with a lot of knowledge about the island, professionalism, and very attentive. Being in Funchal for the first time, it was essential and very pleasant to have done the guided tours of the West and East Zones. We wouldn't have enjoyed almost anything if we had rented a car, besides some roads being quite narrow. I thank Rebeca and Benjamim immensely for surprising us so much with the tours.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Madeira! Our guide, Luis, was fantastic. He was incredibly friendly, fun to talk to, and had an impressive knowledge of Madeira’s history, culture, and natural beauty. Every stop came with interesting stories and insights that made us appreciate the island even more. If you’re visiting Madeira and want an easy, enjoyable way to see the island while learning about its history and culture, I can’t recommend this tour enough. The scenery is spectacular, the experience is completely stress-free, and Luis made the day even more memorable. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Madeira!

Truly an extraordinary way to see the whole island highlights in one day. Carefully curated so your ahead of the crowds, allowed time to wander, take photos along the way. Better than I imagined. Luis explained things along the way, never rushed or hovered. He is native to Madeira and it shows the passion he has for this beautiful island. Hands down the best way to see the island in one day.

Our guide was very good and took us around entire island! We hit all the points that I was going to attempt to do as I originally was going to rent car. Every spot he dropped us off and was waiting when done. I highly recommend this tour….

We saw a lot of the Madeira in great comfort in 8 hours. Louis was very knowledgable about his island, a good driver, polite and spoke perfect English. He even bought us snacks.
