Kevin knows the area well and brought us to an amazing spot for Aurora viewing based on weather/cloud/activity levels. As a professional photographer, he took a number of priceless shots for us! Would recommend!

Kevin is the best! He drove us into one of most scenic fjords and even though it started to rain initially, the night kept getting better and better later on. We caught some beautiful dancing aurora multiple times and also during our way back. Kevin is a super friendly guy and just is the best at what he does. I highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in northern lights.

Honestly, myself & my wife have done alot of travel to alot of interesting places and this experience might just be the top of the list! Kevin (our guide) is unbelievable. The weather in Tromsø has been bang-average; and not for one moment did he appear worried that we weren't going to have the most amazing night... and he was 100% right. He was so informative, so willing to share all his insights and show us all his gear that he uses to work out where to take us. After ~2.5 hours of driving towards the Finland border (which he told us was on the cards) he pulled over to this spot. There was nothing there... side of the road, a lake and a small clearing where he confidently told us 'I don't usually stop here, I'd rather keep driving but I think with the weather... this is our best shot to come here and be patient'. Within ~30min we were in awe! We had the most unbelievable show that just went on and on and on... and Kevin's photo's are amazing btw! After our necks were saw from looking up so much we set up camp with a fire and some food and drinks before making the drive back to Tromsø. Honestly, we could have just driven straight back, had a snooze in the mini-van and been completely content... but Kevin had other ideas. We made 3 stops on the way back with each stop being more incredible than the next. The lights just kept coming and he kept spotting them... We were late coming back but no-one cared. Kevin made the experience so incredible for us! It's an absolute life highlight and cannot recommend enough. We got up to have breakfast the next morning at ~9am and sitting in my inbox was our photos from the trip! And they're amazing! My biggest piece of advice would be not only booking with these guys... 100 times out of 100, do not book a tour on a big bus. You absolutely cannot get the experience, the flexibility and speed that Kevin and Greenlander were able to deliver and give us. 🙏

Wow wow wow. Greenlander did not disappoint. Our guide Kevin went above and beyond to make sure our group had the most amazing experience. We were never rushed and his expertise meant it didn’t take long to find Aurora. His focus and attention to detail on the skies meant we got to see the lights dance and an aurora corona. Breathtaking night!! A small group experience is definitely the way to go.

Highly recommend Greenlander Tromsø for a Northern Lights tour! Kevin was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to find the best spot to see the lights. He took us all the way to Finland, with no time limits, to give us the best possible chance of witnessing the Northern Lights. If you’re trying to decide which company to book for your Northern Lights tour - look no further and just book Greenlander (I booked tours with 4 different companies so have some comparison). Markus was phenomenal from start to finish. The small group atmosphere really makes a difference. Markus loves what he does and truly enjoys spending time with his groups. It was an incredible experience seeing the lights for the first time, but I can honestly say that even if we hadn’t had a good showing, the evening was incredibly fun and memorable on its own. The photographs of the evening, including landscape and portraits, are beautiful. Thank you, Greenlander, for a night to remember!

We had an incredible tour with Greenlander and I highly recommend them!! Our guide, Hans, was expert in finding clear skies. He was so friendly and knowledgeable and had great stories to tell. We saw the northern lights dancing (an expansion) and it was magical. We will remember this night for a long time!

Markus is a very nice guy, very responsive since the beggining, he did not measure efforts to delivery the best experience for us to see the lights. His communications skills made our experience amazing. If you are looking for someone to experience the lights for the first time, this is the place to go. I'm pretty sure Greenlander will provide you the best experience in Tromso. If some day I return to Tromso definitely will repeat the experience with them.

We were a party of 3, one couple and a single person. The experience overall was amazing. Our driver, Markus, showed up exactly on time, gave us a brief orientation, and started off. In our case we drove only about an hour to the place he'd chosen which he said was one of the places that was predicted to clear up, as it'd been a cloudy day. We ended up on a little area near the shore and had some great aurora activity even with a full moon. We never felt rushed to leave, and the activity lasted almost 3 hours. We had a fire, warm drinks, and even sausage with a potato wrap, toasted over the fire. I would definitely choose Greenlander again if I wanted to come back.

We really enjoyed our Northern Lights chase with Markus! The conditions were definitely not great (cloudy, full moon, low Kp), so we were a bit skeptical. However, we ended up setting up camp about 90 minutes from Tromsø, and we were rewarded with a beautiful display in the sky! Markus has ~13 years of experience with Northern Lights chase tours and was clearly knowledgeable and passionate. We enjoyed sausages (including vegetarian ones!), cookies, marshmallows, and warm drinks around the fire. The van was comfortable for a full group plus guide (9 people), and logistics were made very simple for us. Highly recommend!!!
