Francisco has the technology to determine the most likely places to see the Northern Lights. He’s great and so is Jose, our guide. Because of them, I lived my dream to see the Northern Lights!

The tour delivered exactly what it promised. There were six of us in the minivan, plus our driver and guide, Matheus. Before heading out, our guide Francisco gave us a very clear explanation of what we could expect from the night. He explained the current solar activity, the satellite images used to monitor auroral conditions, and the satellite cloud-cover images they use to identify areas with clearer skies. He also explained how they interpret the different data to assess the chances of seeing the Northern Lights. He showed everything on a television while explaining it, which made the information very easy to follow and gave us a much better understanding of what was happening in the sky. Matheus first took us to a spot where we were able to watch the Northern Lights. After staying there for a while, he suggested moving because there were cars passing by with their headlights on. The second spot he found was perfect: completely dark, with clear skies and no distractions. We were able to watch the aurora for around two and a half hours. Solar activity was also particularly strong that night, so we were lucky enough to see a lot of red in the aurora, which made the experience even more impressive. The whole experience was very comfortable. We wore thermal suits that kept us warm, and we had tea and muffins while watching the lights. Throughout the evening, Matheus also took photos of both the aurora and us. The experience felt very intimate and special, and I even proposed to my girlfriend under the Northern Lights. Afterwards, we asked Matheus if he could help us recreate the moment for some photos, and he was more than happy to do so. He even went into the forest to find a great spot and took a lot of amazing pictures for us. At the end of the night, he played the handpan for a while, which made the perfect ending to an already unforgettable experience. It was a wonderful night, and I would 100% recommend this tour. Francisco And Mat split our group into two vans. Mat took us to four location; each more brilliant than the others! Please use this company to learn how and why this phenomenon results! The naked eye provided great visuals -?iphones and cameras are even better!!!

We booked via Viator, and did they ever direct us to an operation that is beyond professional. We were picked up at our meeting point on time, and escorted to the office for a professional briefing with multiple visuals about what areas might gives the best opportunity to view the Northern Lights. Francisco and Mateaus are both knowledgeable and passionate about their profession. Nine people were on our tour. Instead of cramping us into one van, they took two vehicles to ensure our comfort! Foul weather gear is provided. Matesus took us to four spots, each better than the other. Our pictures with a smart phone were good - Mat had a camera that was excellent. Seeing the Northern Lights was at the top of my bucket list. Green Gold of Norway delivered an amazing experience. From the moment we set off, Nico’s passion and expertise were on full display. He did not just drive us to a standard tourist spot; he meticulously tracked satellite weather maps and wind patterns to hunt down the clearest skies. Nico made sure everyone had the best view, patiently helped everyone configure their cameras and smartphones to capture stunning photos and also kept us warm with hot drinks and snacks. Good educational introduction about how the Aurora Borealis happens by Francisco. Mateusz drive us all over the place until he found good conditions for viewing, and we got lucky too! Muffins and hot tea after a cold evening were great. Thanks so much for the excellent evening.

Matheus was an excellent guide. He provided clear instructions, & knew exactly where to go to find the lights. We were able to see the lights at several stops during the trip, & the photos he sent after the trip were excellent!

We were confused about the meeting place, but Francisco tracked us down quickly. The pre-trip information was interesting and helpful. Mateusz drove carefully and chose a good direction to avoid clouds and Aurora Borealis came to the party as hoped. Great evening

Francisco and Mateus are super professional team. The excursion was beyond my expectations. Mateus took the group to the most perfect spots to see the northern lights. The interaction with the guides was very pleasant . The atmosphere during the tour was cozy and made the comunication between people , totaly strangers to each other, very easy and flowing.
