Mathu was amazing. It was a wet day, yet it was fun. Mathu showed us some beautiful sites. We went and had a first Kiwi Pie. We saw Arataki Visitor Centre, Karekare Beach and Falls. Lunch at Piha Surf Life Saving Club. He went out of his way to take Paul and I to a boot shop since Paul's boots broke on the plane over. The knowledge and information Mathu told us was intriguing. Definitely book with Kiwi Road Tours. Thank you Mathu x
Phenomenal private tour with Mathu guiding us to a mammoth crater, scenic hikes, stunning waterfalls, spectacular mountainous cliff views, sparkling black sand beaches. Mathu was so affable, patient and helpful. Felt like a special tailored tour to what we wanted despite us having no set plan. He wowed us. We saw so much at our own pace, traveled in comfort and left impressed. And Mathu made a couple bonus stops for special requests including chocolate and honey.
We had the most spectacular time with our guide Mathu. He took us all over beginning with Mount Eden, and ending with Piha Beach (and so much in between...) It was one of the most memorable days. We would do this again in a heartbeat and highly recommend this tour to anyone who is considering it.
Picked up from Auckland Cruise Terminal on time for a private tour. Car was spotlessly clean. We had a memorable day adventure with our knowledgeable driver TJ visiting Mount Eden, the visitor centre, Karekare and Kitekite Falls and various coastal viewpoints along the way. Our walk along South Piha beach was magical, with a bit of rock climbing, we were able to access a part of the beach that was cut off by the tide, and it was truly beautiful! Highly recommed!
Amazing tour! Our guide , Mathu was so nice, personable and took us to places we would have never seen. We walked through rain forests and saw beautiful water falls! We also visited Piha beach which was amazing! Being on a private tour allowed Mathu to adjust schedule to our liking! It was also nice having our own private photographer! Highly recommend! I’d give a 10 rating if I could. Thanks again Mathu for a great day!
