Unexpected and simply amazing
What an unexpected amazing morning at the movie set. Absolutely mind blowing. Lunch was nothing but a laugh sat down and took one bite of long awaited meat pie and oh no fire alarms start ringing. Needless to say we had to leave to get to caves. Caves are a natural wonder and guide Marlee up for missed lunch buying everyone the best ice cream

This was an excellent day. We had Liam as our guide who was outstanding. Local knowledge is invaluable and Liam certainly had some great advice within the tour and for our trip in general. What an awesome experience it was smooth from start to finish with an excellent guide Steven who was interesting, informative and provided excellent energy throughout. He really helped the trip with his knowledge and care for each person locating us when we wandered and ensured we got all we needed out of each experience from gift shops to sights. He’s great and this experience was great!

Fun! Never called myself a fan of lord of the rings or the hobbit so I was impressed and will go home and watch all the movies

Auckland Scenic Tours - Definitely worth the trip!
Our tour with Auckland Scenic Tours was top notch. The busses were clean and new, the itinerary and pickup instructions were clear and the hotel pickup was on time. Stephen was a GREAT tour guide and made sure that everyone on our bus was taken care of. He was a wealth of knowledge about different spots during our drive to Hobbiton and on to the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves. We had a great time and would gladly book another tour with them!

Great trip to Hobbiton and Waitomo
We had an excellent day with Mike as our guide. Pickups were smooth, and we made excellent time to Hobbiton with lots of information provided on the drive by Mike. We had a wonderful tour there, and then proceeded to Waitomo for the glow worms. With Mike’s guidance and excellent driving, we couldn’t have asked for a better day!

Fabulous trip and undoubtedly the best guide!
We had a fabulous trip to Hobbiton & Waitomo caves with Rachel. Rachel was a fabulous host, we were so lucky to have her as our guide, she is super friendly, you instantly feel a friend and not a tourist. Her local knowledge and history was really interesting and enjoyable throughout. Well thought out comfort stops throughout the day. Hobbiton & the Waitomo caves were both fabulous as expected, we had really clear and informative instruction provided by Rachel which made the day much more efficient. The tour operator was...
The tour operator was first notch. We had a comfortable bus for the day and joined up with two other busses from the same tour company at both Hobbiton and the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves. Both experiences were incredible!
