ツアーはニュージーランド最大の都市オークランドからスタートします。 市内をドライブしながら、ガイドが冒険の舞台を設定するだけでなく、市内の見どころをいくつか指摘してくれます。
オークランドを出て、世界で最も広大な農業地帯である見事なワイカト地方の田園地帯を南下し、途中で美しい景色、雄大な川、素晴らしい写真撮影の機会、印象的な山々、いくつかの家畜に出会います。
「ホビトン」到着後、緑色の大型ホビトン・バスに乗車し、ホビトンのプロのガイドと共に2時間半の完全ガイド付き映画セットを見学します。 シャイアの緑豊かな牧草地へのツアーステップでは、44のホビットホールを訪れ、素晴らしい庭園を眺めたり、映画制作の秘密や話を聞いたり、有名なホビトンのパブ「緑の竜の旅館」で冷たい無料ドリンクを楽しんだりすることができます。

I generally enjoyed my tour of Hobbiton. The tour guide Grant was helpful in informing my group about Auckland and a few facts about The Lord of the Rings series. He was invested in our safety and comfort. We also stopped by at a rest stop in between Auckland and Matamata where Hobbiton was located. I liked the Hobbiton experience except for a few minor aspects in the area. I would recommend it to any fans of The Lord of the Rings.

We had a wonderful visit to Hobbiton thanks to our fabulous guide, Jeoff! He went above and beyond by providing us with other travel advice in New Zealand. His knowledge of New Zealand and the history of the country is impressive. Hobbiton is a must see even if you are not a Lord of the Rings fan. The details involved in building and maintaining the set are first class. The rolling hills and working farm surroundings are lovely.
