Riley was welcoming, friendly, patient and knowledgeable. We went to 6 food establishments, all unique to California through influences from the Philippines and Mexico. Nice size portions that proved sufficient for our dinner. Riley shared with us the history of the gaslight district and the buildings within it. Thanks, Riley!!

Our guide Riley was excellent. The food was delicious. We have been on a number of food tours and this was one of the best! I think it would have been beneficial if we had been given suggestions for parking on the meeting point instructions. We ended up in a lot that charged $48.

Fun pub type food choices. Lots of info on gaslight history. Small amount of walking on brick streets. Doug our tour guide was great.

Doug was a wonderful tour guide. He was a San Diego local and shared lots of history with us. The food was a great sampling of San Diego specialties. We had an 11 year old granddaughter with us who really enjoyed trying Each course. Fun and tasty!

Fun, definitely ate a lot. Doug was a great tour guide. Loved both of the tacos, hearing about the history of the city and just being outside and moving. Would take others on the trip as well.

Doug did a spectacular job not only giving us the background of the food we were trying, but also pointing out the history of the Gaslamp Quarter, its architecture, hard to find unique spots to eat and drink, from dive bars to a hidden speakeasy, to nice upscale restaurants. The lumpia, fish tacos, and ice cream stood out for us. The street taco Al Pastor. Coffee, and Meltburger were also very good. All six stops were places we wouldn’t have otherwise thought to go to on our own. PRO Tip: there was plenty of food involved, so make sure to skip breakfast and show up hungry.

Wonderful tour dotted with history. The food stops were good and drink packages were available for an extra fee. I liked that the focus wasn't on alcohol. Great knowledgeable guide too.
