Such a wonderful experience! The driver was excellent and he was so accommodating. He took us to the tea factory first, then nine arches, the little Adams peak, and we ended with the Rawana waterfall. Beautiful day, well spent with a great tour guide!

Me and 2 of my mates did the Ella 6 Icons Tuk Tuk day tour with Hide Ella Hotel & Resort and honestly… best decision. It’s basically the easiest way to hit all the Ella “must-sees” in one day without frying your brain trying to plan routes or sort transport. Our tuk tuk driver was a proper chill and experienced guy, knew all the best viewpoints, and didn’t rush us. We did Ella Rock first (not gonna lie, it’s a mission, but the view at the top is worth all the effort). Then Little Adam’s Peak which is way easier but still unreal. After that we stopped at Ravana Falls, the tea factory, got some nice viewpoints (Demodara Loop), and finished at Nine Arches Bridge. That last stop was easily the highlight. It was a proper movie scene, and the driver showed us where to stand for the best pics. They gave us water and a packed lunch too which saved us because you get hungry fast doing all that walking. If you’re in Ella with mates or family and want a full day of views and vibes, this tour is 100% worth it.

Amazing tour on a VERY rainy day. Our guide took us all over and braved the rain with us to show us the sights. To the extent we could see them:( He switched up the itinerary a bit to accommodate the weather and helped us see nine arches while the train was crossing. Even sent us a picture he took

Excellent service , efficient and friendly ! Our tour guide provided us with great information and helped us directly get to all the major attractions without hassle and struggling :) highly recommended as we were able to get so much of the sites seen in one day with ample time to rest and enjoy the surroundings!

Unfortunately, the tour was disappointing. The guide didn’t have much to say about the sights, which made the whole experience way too overpriced. The package is way too expensive for what you actually get. You could easily just take a tuk tuk driver in the town who drives you around and waits for you at every stop for probably 1/4 of the price. And you would be way more flexible additionally to that. Even though we started 1.5 hours earlier than the guide wanted (at our request), there still wasn’t enough time to visit all 6 planned (and paid) stops. Even though we spent less time at mosts stops than indicated in the tour program (for example, we needed 1 hour less than indicated at Ella Rock because the guide just wanted to take pictures of us at the top and then leave again, we actually wanted to stay a bit and enjoy the view but he wanted to leave…). The guide insisted on finishing after stop 5, because he said he wanted to go home. So we were not able to see the Ravanna Waterfall. On top of that, the tour wasn’t adjusted at all, even though it was clear and completely obvious when looking at the sky that it would rain in the afternoon. Instead of saving the tea factory – an indoor stop – for later, the guide insisted on visiting it as the second stop while the sun was still shining. As a result, we had to be outside in the rain later, which could have easily been avoided. A massive thunderstorm was approaching and he still insisted to drive us up to the top of a mountain, where we luckily found shelter at a small house where the owner offered us tea while massive lightnings struck pretty close to us. I definitely wouldn’t book this tour again. Just rent a scooter or hire a tuk-tuk driver for the day – it’s super easy to do everything on your own and much cheaper. Ella Rock you can for example easily reach on your own by just using Google Maps. We are sure the driver meant well, he for example even called the train station to ask why the train wasn‘t on time when we were at a viewpoint. But still, massively overpriced and unflexible tour.

Suranga was a really great guide who took us to all the icons and was very accommodating with certain requests. He made us feel very safe and we had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend!

No matter the weather his smile and sense of humor make sure your day is bright. Throughout the trip, Suranga shared insightful background knowledge, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tuk tuk tour, was a great way to see all the sites over the course of a day. Our driver and guide Suranga was so knowledgeable and was so friendly - he couldn’t do enough for us. The views from Ella Rock were incredible and that was definitely the highlight - it’s a must see! The visit to the tea plantation was excellent too with the option to either have a factory or plantation tour. It was an excellent day and we would highly recommend- especially if you aren’t in Ella for long as this is the perfect trip to see it all!
