An absolutely unforgettable 5½ hours on the water! 🌊🐠 Blue Water Rafting was hands-down one of the highlights of our Maui trip. The trip out to Molokini was absolutely beautiful, and the crew did an amazing job making the entire experience both fun and incredibly informative. The snorkeling spots were **sublime** - gorgeous water, incredible scenery, and plenty to see beneath the surface. And then there’s Captain Kanoe. 😂 His jokes were truly unparalleled. He kept us laughing pretty much the entire time and somehow managed to make even my less-than-glamorous moment on the backside of Molokini entertaining. Yes… I got seasick. But Captain Kanoe was READY. Ginger chews? ✔️ Jokes to distract me? ✔️ Making sure I was okay? ✔️ Saving the situation with humor? Absolutely. 😂 And then came the cookies. 🍪 Let’s just say I was *very* grateful those were handed out AFTER I finished getting sick. Timing is everything, people. The entire crew was fantastic, the snorkeling was beautiful, the boat ride was exciting, and the atmosphere was just so much fun. You could tell the crew genuinely wanted everyone to have a great experience. Would 100% recommend Blue Water Rafting and this tour to anyone looking for a fun, beautiful, informative, and adventure-filled 5½ hours snorkeling around Maui. Just maybe bring your sea legs… and if you don’t have them, apparently Captain Kanoe has ginger chews. 😂🌺 Mahalo.

We recently did the all inclusive tour. Our guides were Laurel and Alex. They made the experience so much fun. They shared so much knowledge with us about Maui and we had a blast. The waters were kind of rough this day but that didn’t stop them. They took us to other snorkel spots and made sure we got the full experience. We always felt safe with them. This is our second time doing this tour and both were so different but so great. Highly recommend!!

I have lived on Maui for 22 years and this was my first time on this tour. I can’t believe it took me so long to experience that side of Maui. But then again, maybe it was perfect timing for the point I am in my life journey. The views brought tears to my eyes as I couldn’t help but feel connected to something that is so much greater than us. Being part of something so ancient yet still becoming was an experience that will stay with me forever. Scott was an amazing captain who made the education aspect fun and easy to remember. I felt safe with him steering us through the vast ocean!!

Great for the adventurous minds! We had a great tour with Captain Mikey (forgot the other crew’s name; the duo is very fun and knowledgeable) and ventured all the way south to see the sea caves and hear the stories and learn the geology while getting a 3/10 bumpiness and sprays from the windy ocean - the only tour that does this and hence the higher price. We then went straight to Molokini, due to green water conditions (i.e. low visibility for snorkeling) near the shore. We did both the inside (most people go to see lots of fish and corals) and outside (didn’t see any other boat doing this) of Molokini. The outside part of Molokini has a narrow strip of safe zones where we saw a rapid cliff drop from sea level to over 200 feet (dark) under the water and a tiny harmless reef shark in addition to the fish. We then snorkeling twice near turtle town and saw a total of 5-6 green turtles. Beware the water can be choppy when it’s windy and make sure to not go too shallow or you can bump into the volcano rocks near the shore. We had a cookie, juice, water, fruit, a scone and other chips throughout the tour. Not too fancy but enough for us to snorkel this whole tour coming in with an empty stomach in early morning.

Charlie and Kanoe were knowledgeable and excellent guides. Snorkeling spots were good and the sea caves were awesome. Great day at sea!

Super awesome trip out to La Perouse. Interesting to see the sea caves and lava formations. Molokini was beautiful and turtle cove was really cool. We did see turtles! This was a super fun way to see different sights of Maui. It was a more adventurous tour, which was exactly what my family loves!

Angela and Alex were awesome. The way we were able to drift along Molokini crater to snorkel while the other boats and people were stuck in one spot was a huge bonus. Done a lot of snorkeling they the years and this tour is at the top of list

This local company knows what they are doing! For reference, my husband and I are in our 50s (OK shape) with 4 kids, 22 to 12, with little snorkeling experience. This trip was amazing! You take an adventurous ride to the southernmost point of the island to see the lava flow sea caves. Then start your snorkeling in a beautiful lava bay with plenty of sea life. Another snorkel at the crater where my kids saw eel and a shark, and lastly around turtle town where we spotted 4 turtles and another shark as well as some octopus. Angela and Dakota were great guides with a ton of knowledge on the areas visited. It was an exhausting but amazing adventure.

Wanted the biggest bang for the buck and this filled the bucket!!! Small group experience. This is the trip that started it all for Blue Water Rafting and now I know why!! Three snorkel spots, great views and a little lava insight. Cap Alex and First Mate Angela made the trip what it was and held up the very high standards of BWR! We had to adapt a little for building seas south, but still had plenty of quality water time above and below the waves. I use these guys all the time for whale watches in the season ( recommended) , but this is the first time I have booked anything else. Able to just dump and drift at all the spots for snorkeling which is a huge plus for getting to and from the best areas! Concise safety and wild life respect briefs, excellent equipment as well. Jammed packed experience! A day on the water in just a morning!! If you are looking for an adventurous experience that is not a big boat melee THIS IS IT!! Fills up fast so book early!! Bring the sunscreen as there is no going below, dry storage available on the boat. Ahh and the scones 😎
