Tiago was an amazing tour guide. We met him at the Sintra Station and he had a calm demeanor asking if we would like a tour of the palaces and the beautiful costal views. We did not have a plan in mind once we landed in Sintra but he offered a quick itinerary catered to our interest. He drove us around in a vintage jeep and was very knowledgeable of history and the nature throughout Sintra. The highlight of our trip was seeing a secret view of the beach cliffs and grabbing lunch from a local tasca. He made everyone feel welcomed and was friendly throughout. It was a pleasure spending the day with him and getting to know Sintra!

My friends and I were blown away by the quality of Tiago's tour. We can't recommend it enough! Tiago himself was very communicative, welcoming, and knowledgeable. As a local, Tiago knew all the back roads, best views, when to pull over for a photo, how to avoid the crowds, and where to have a great lunch. He was able to optimize our route to show us the town of Sintra, all the main properties, palaces, and points of interest. Tiago explained the history of each site along the way, and answered any/all questions we had about the region. It was the drive along the coast of Sintra that really impressed us though. The views were stunning and we went a bit off the beaten path, which felt really special. Throughout the tour, Tiago also adjusted to our interests. He injected options like a scenic walk, additional beach views, and pointed out local flora/fauna; sharing many funny stories along the way. We had also asked to end at Pena Palace so we could do a tour there. He helped us choose a time slot and get there on time. We learned tons and had a blast! The jeep was perfect for seeing 360° views and popping up for a photo. We would give 11 stars if we could :) Thanks so much!!

Our tour with Tiago was one of the top highlights of our 3+ week vacation. Tiago was so knowledgeable about his hometown of Sintra and took us throughout the entire city from the castles in the forest to the cliffs off the coast and everything in between. We had one extra day in Lisbon that we set aside for a tour in Sintra and Cascais. Choose Tiago Nunes to tour us his town. He did an excellent job showing us Sintra- he was very informative and very detail. Started off giving us a Portuguese treat from casa do Preto- queijada and Travesseiros. Both were excellent. It was a cool morning to start the day and forgot to bring a jacket- Tiago also provided us blankets to stay warm riding the jeep. Gave us highlight of Sintra. Saw Quinta da regaleira. Had an option to stop at the town. We saw the coastline of Portugal - so many cool beaches and cliffs. Great to see off road sites. Also took us to a local restaurant for lunch. Tiago is an excellent tour guide! From start to finish everything was perfect. Communication was spot on, pickup and drop off was flawless, and most importantly his knowledge of the area was incredible. We had a great time and would not hesitate to tour with him again..
