This tour combines e-bikes, walking and food and represents good value, especially on account of Leon, the tour guide. The cycling, which takes about half of the tour time, was at a pleasant pace - the electric assisted bikes make it effortless and make the heat - 36 degrees - bearable. Cycling around central Lyon is handy too given the number of cycling lanes and the layout at traffic lights. The use of e-bikes means you see more of Lyon than you otherwise would - such as the Parc de la Tête d’Or. The food part of the tour took place in a nice bistro with a selection of local meats and cheeses. The walking portion is a ramble around the Vieux Lyon, with several stops, such as the traboules (secret passages linking buildings and streets) that you’d otherwise miss. Leon was highly knowledgeable about Lyon and a conscientious guide. The tour lasted almost 4.5 hours.

This was such an enjoyable experience and we learned so much! Shirine was an incredible guide- friendly, knowledgeable, a fun people person.

Wonderful e-bike trip throughout Lyon. Leo was a great host. Very knowledgeable on the cities sights, history, and gastronomy. Recommend the 4hr trip that also includes a walking tour of Old Lyon and a wonderful lunch with wine.

Bruno was a never ending historian of fabulous information! Totally recommend this combined tour! Bikes worked fabulous, the tasting was super delish and entertaining and the walking tour was awe inspiring. Lucky there was only 4 for the later half was perfect. We would recommend the voice boxes so Bruno could continue sharing his wealth of knowledge!!!

Great intro to the city in a fun way! Our guide was excellent and I think everyone had a good time. Lyon is beautiful on bike or foot.

Leon was very knowledgable and easy to understand. Very friendly and easy to get along with . Managed to handle 9 of us on e bikes through town without losing anyone. I would recommend him very highly.

Leon captained 9 of us on what looked like new Bosch e-bikes for an easy (mostly flat) 2 hour ride through traffic intersections, both river banks and Tête d’Or park/zoo. Commentary (with pictures) covered a little history so that you’d relate to contemporary Lyon. A stop at bmd for wine and meat/cheese was especially appreciated by a guest who’d traveled with the Wine Scholar Guild. Leon was generous with his time during the following walk through the old town. Definitely recommend.

Even though we are Lyonnais, this visit delighted us! Indeed, we rediscovered some neighborhoods from a new angle and learned many unusual anecdotes about our beautiful city. The electric bike ride was a real pleasure, and we ended with a delicious tasting of Lyon specialties, from sausage to cheese, for a gourmet and convivial moment. An original and rewarding experience that I recommend to all!
