Great food tour with our guide, Charolette! She shared a lot of history and background of Lyon and its gastronomic presence. We had numerous food stops with two being very authentic Lyon dishes. Come hungry. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Sybil was an amazing guide and host. Very knowledgeable, warm and friendly. The food was delicious - charcuterie, sweets, and an authentic French dinner. I would highly recommend especially for first time visitors to Lyon. Sybil introduced us to various shop owners and explained the region’s specialties. We had to leave from the tour to the airport or I would have gone back to each shop and purchased many of the items to take home.

Tasting comprised of two savory and three sweet stops. The first savory stop is a tiny charcuterie plate with a 4oz taste of wine. The last savory stop is a choice of the local traditional dish or two other selections with a 4oz taste of wine. Two of the sweet stops are tiny morsels of excellent delights. The third sweet stop is the traditional praline pastry from the most well-known shop. The history anecdotes during the tour are excellent. But for a food tour in the culinary capital of Europe if not the World, the tastings are a poor showing. Our golf cart access street food tasting in Rome blew away this experience. Nevertheless, this overall tour experience is okay.

Nathalie was excellent and the chosen stops and food were fabulous. Lots of food and drink! Nathalie spoke good English and answered all our questions. She explained how the food and history in Lyon are linked and it was very interesting. Highly recommend. Go hungry!

Our guide Sib gave us a fascinating insight into the history of Lyonnaise food (and general history too) as we wandered around the gorgeous historic foodie centre of Lyon. A good mix of experiences with stops for an entree and main interspersed with tastings of a wide variety of treats at local Lyon producers. Sib's obvious passion and enthusiasm for Lyonnaise food was infectious and with a convivial group of 10 it was a great afternoon. Highly recommend.

Sybil gave a wonderful old town food tour to me and the other American couple in this evening group. I learned a little history about this area of Lyon, got some great tips about must see sights in Lyon and even found a secret passageway. We kept moving and eating with a sit down apéro at Pralyon, a charming bouchon, and a delightful dinner at Chez Brachon. The Cassolette de ravioles Sauce St, Marcelin takes a macaroni gratin to a much higher level of cuisine!We tried all the famous foods in Lyon, including the pralalune brioche from Pralus ( a must try!) and some very yummy sweets. Sybil told us the history behind everything we sampled which made the tour even more interesting. Highly recommend an old town food tour with Sybil. I wish she had a day tour where she showed you all the best foods all over Lyon!

We had Nathalie as our guide today. Such a fantastic tour. Not only a food tour but so much information on Lyon and its history. We have done food tours in many countries, this was the best - thanks to Nathalie. Soooo much great food too. Thank you x
