Excellent walking tour with Paul
Paul was a friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable guide. He showed us several hidden spots and historic corners in Lyon that I wouldn't have discovered on my own. A great way to see the city and learn more about its history.

A walking tour is a brilliant way to orient oneself with a new city, it rich histories and cultures one might otherwise not learn. Paul did not disappoint! He had all sorts of cool facts and stories. His voice carried and he was conscientious of both our group and the pedestrians around us. Don’t miss this exceptional value.

A great introduction to Lyon
Paul gave us a marvellous introduction to Lyon by telling quirky and informative stories about the places he took us to. He’s very knowledgeable about the city and its long history, and communicates it all very well. We enjoyed the first tour so much we went on the other one the next day. Highly recommended.

The guide Paul was knowledgeable about Lyon and its history. We covered a lot of area and learned about Lyon’s role in the French resistance, and about its history as a “foodie” town. Fun and informative!

Terrific Intro to Lyon
Paul was an excellent guide and gave us a great introduction to both the Old City and Presque Isle. Most notable was the opportunity to travel through multiple traboules, observe the renaissance style architecture and see silkworms. Alonso gave restaurant recommandations. Highly recommend for first day of a multiday visit. Tips expected and well deserved!

Excellent-recommended to all first time visitors to Lyon
Excellent tour, interesting and informative. We learnt a lot about the history of Lyon and its distinctive architecture. Paul had a very good delivery, quite fast but full of interesting nuggets. We appreciated his dry, self deprecating sense of humour. We wish we had done the tour at the beginning of our trip, his practical tips would have helped a lot. Highly recommended to all first time visitors to Lyon.
