First time travelers to area: Beware!
Much more information needs to be shared upfront about getting to the pick-up location (required 45 min Taxi and 1.5 hour ferry rides from Downtown Vancouver).
Advertised as Private Butchart Gardens tour and other sites in Victoria. Tour guide can’t tour in gardens and we had to pay for own tickets when we arrived! RIPOFF! Guide was helpful but it ended up being $600+ taxi ride due to how far everything is located. 4 hours- but if going from downtown Vancouver - better plan 8 hours!
Even called clarify and was given misinformation! Very disappointing compared to other Viator Tours we have had!

Don’t think twice. This is the Butchart/City highlights tour you want.
John was an excellent, knowledgeable guide. He stopped at several key locations and offered history and background to enhance the experience. Couldn’t have been a better person to handle this tour.

We enjoyed this tour we came in on a cruise ship and wanted to maximize our downtime waiting for people to load and offload a bus at every stop we got to see quite a bit

Amazing colorful gardens
Beautiful Gardens with amazing colors. Loved every minute there. Our guide was great and helped us on a 1K hike to go into the park after a tree fell in the entrance and blocked access via car. Unfortunately, that limited out time in the park.

Top Notch Tour - We learned a lot and had a great time!
We are so glad we took this tour! The gardens are stunning, and the information we learned about the city and surrounding areas is exactly the experience we were looking for. Ken is an outstanding tour guide. I highly recommend booking a tour with Ken or one of his team members. They are all knowledgeable, professional and a lot of fun.

Excellent Tour!
John did a great job showing us the wonderful neighborhoods of Victoria first, before escorting us to the Gardens. He was very knowledgeable about the history and able to answer all of our questions. Would highly recommend him.

Although the tour is...
Although the tour is billed as a tour of Butchardt Gardens, the cost did not include entry into the Gardens, which cost over C$400. That information should be included in the tour description. Otherwise, the tour was wonderful.

Thank you for the feedback. We’re glad you had a wonderful tour! Butchart Gardens admission is separate from the tour price and is noted in the booking details, but we understand how this could have been missed. We appreciate you bringing it to our attention.
