The tour was an early start and a long day. 7.45am to 9.20pm. The guide Sarah was great, the right amount of information and humour we were on the Rupert bus . The gardens were amazing and lovely and peaceful. Well worth a visit. Went to the BC museum it was a little gem and really worth a visit.

Every interaction with Landsea Tours, and we had several, was exceptional. Highly recommend the company regardless of destination. We split our tour into two days. The first was a pickup at our hotel in Vancouver and ferry ride to Victoria. We saw a bit of Vancouver and several stops after the ferry ride in Victoria. Dropped of off at our hotel. Two days later we picked up the tour midway on the route, seeing the rest of Victoria and getting delivered back to our hotel. It fit our itinerary to divide the tour and the company was accommodating. Pickup spots n Victoria vary, but a good chance one is close. Drivers/guides were knowledgeable and personable (both tour driver/guide named Steven).

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Take lots of pictures! Zac, our driver was very friendly and made the experience enjoyable.

We loved the day trip and had a great time at Butchart Gardens we had An amazing and helpful guide named Joe! The whole trip was great and our guide Joe is amazing! We highly recommend them!

Wonderful day in Victoria and Butchart Gardens. Long day but saw a lot and had an amazing day. Our guide Alex was great and made sure we all enjoyed our day.

Had a great day. Started with a pickup at our hotel and then on to the Ferry. Arrived in Victoria with free time to explore. Then onto the bus to Butchard Gardens. The gardens are amazing. Back on the ferry and back to the hotel. Our driver/guide Rob was great. Very professional. Thanks Rob

Yes, the reviews do mention it is a long day, but it was even longer than anticipated. The tour guide, Alex, was very good. He maintained an energetic, positive demeanor throughout the day, gave helpful tips and was full of information. We realize that the tour is aiming to please a wide range of interests. It seems the day is entirely dependent on the ferry schedule. In addition, going to 6-7 pick up spots extends the day even further. It is a little misleading when you say pick up is the Fairmount at 8 and then the day before change pick up to 7:35 and turns out you are on a 10 am ferry. Adding the 1.5 hour ferry trip and then a drive to downtown Victoria I would highly recommend dropping the tour around town so that people can get off the bus and have more time for lunch and sightseeing. Also, 1.5 hours at Butchart Gardens is plenty. We arrived a little early and left just before 6 pm which was almost 2 hours. All in all we were pretty happy with the tour and realize it would have been difficult to work out all the arrangements on our own. Again, the guide was very good and we saw a lot but some tweaks would make this a less exhausting day.
