金閣寺（きんかくじ）は、京都府京都市にある禅宗寺院。 黄金色の眩い外観と穏やかな庭園で知られるユネスコ世界遺産。 「ゴールデン・パビリオン」という名称は、パビリオンが覆われている金箔に由来する。 採用された金は、汚染や死に対する否定的な考えや感情を軽減し、浄化することを目的としていた。 鹿苑寺伽藍の敷地内にある3階建ての建物「金閣寺」 。 各フロアで異なる建築様式である。 寝殿、武家、禅という3つの建築様式をうまく取り入れている。
嵐山の竹林は京都を訪れる際には必見で、京都のシンボル的存在です。 この美しく穏やかな自然のアトラクションは、そびえ立つ竹の茎と静かな雰囲気で知られています。 緑豊かな緑に囲まれたのどかな道を歩くと、心が安らぎます。 自然の美しさを堪能しながら、ゆっくりとした時間が流れるのを心から感じることができます。 特に薄風が踊り抜けると、高さのある竹の茎が優しく前後に揺れ動く緑がうっとり。
野宮神社 は京都市街の西側、嵐山地区にある神社である。 象徴的な朱色の鳥居を持つ神社の多くとは異なり、野宮神社には「黒木鳥居」と呼ばれる特徴的な黒い鳥居があります。 規模は小さいものの、伊勢神宮の巫女に奉仕された内親王の祓いの神社として、古くから創建された歴史ある神社です。 野宮神社は女性の代理として手伝いや仲介をしてくれることで定評があり、氏子には愛情や子供や安産を願う女性が多い。 神社で売られているお守りには、女性の幸せをテーマにしたものが多く、社務所ではさまざまなお守りを販売しています。
「きものの森」は、アクリル製の透明筒を600個並べた特徴的なテキスタイルアートインスタレーションで、高さは2メートル。 これらの柱には、優雅な花柄から幾何学的な形、日本の伝統的なシンボルまで、さまざまなデザインの鮮やかな着物生地が飾られています。 インスタレーションでは、伝統的な京友禅のデザイン32点を展示。 着物の森は、日本の伝統的な織物と職人技をユニークで魅力的な視点で紹介する必見のアトラクションです。
渡月橋は嵐山を代表するランドマーク。 元々は平安時代（794年 - 1185年）に建立されたもので、最も新しいものは1930年代に再建されたものである。 桂川に架かる有名な橋で、周辺の山々や川の風景を絵のように眺めることができます。

It was a really great and detailed tour. Everything went so smoothly and was lots of fun thanks to our guide, Chris who also shared some little stories about the places we visited. As a family, we saw everything without rushing or wasting any time. The bus was also very comfortable. We definitely recommend it to everyone!

We had such an amazing day exploring Kyoto with Chris. He was so friendly, kind, and patient, and explained everything in a simple and interesting way. He also offered to take pictures of us along the way, which was very thoughtful. Honestly, it felt more like exploring Kyoto with a good friend than with a tour guide. We visited Nijo Castle, Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Nonomiya Shrine, Arashiyama Kimono Forest, Togetsukyo Bridge, and Fushimi Inari Taisha with the beautiful Senbon Torii gates. We spent almost 9 hours together, but the time went by so fast because we enjoyed every moment. The admission fees were very reasonable and totally worth it for such a beautiful experience. Had a great day viewing the sights of Kyoto. Our tour guide Chris was very kind, friendly, and patient 😊. It was worth it to get a tour of some of these iconic structures and Chris provided some really great historical information. Highly recommend. Our favorite part was the Nijo Castle part where we got to learn about the shogun period.

Our day was great! We had constant contact before pick up with our guide, Chris, to ensure we were able to meet up on time.
