It was very nice to de a bikeride in Rome in this area .
The catacombs were interesting
We did get a general map of Rome but the route to the via appia was not on paper so we did get lost a bit , so we had to hurry to get to the catacombs in time
On the way back one of the bikes stopped supporting so it was extra heavy
When we got back the person there told it was probably because of the rain …
We are from Holland and use our electric bikes more than often in the rain so that’s unlikely
People were friendly but a bit more care for the bikes and routes would help

A lot of fun
I was very nervous finding out when I got there to the meeting spot, there wasn't a guide for the bike ride out to the catacombs. However, the girl who helped us gave us a good map with an outline of where and how to get there. The bikes we great, being electric!! The catacombs tour was very informative. The guide was very knowledgeable and we learned so much! You cannot take pictures though, so I do not have any to share. I would recommend doing this as early as you can, the streets were very busy on our way back and took longer than on our way there.
