Everyday was well organized. The guides, Mike and Linette Day 1 to Mt. Cook, Levi Day 2 to Milford Sound, Neil Day 3 to Franz Joseph were fantastic. The drive in the rain to Milford Sound was spectacular- thousands of waterfalls- and the cruise was as well. The Mt. Cook day was gorgeous with sunshine and we had perfect views of the summit. Day 3 was an adventure with torrential rains and rovers flooding. Lunch at the Hard Antler cafe was fun. The Franz Joseph glacier was a disappointment- it has receded so far that it was two miles away. We had a quick view before cloud cover came in. Day 4 the TransAlpine train was relaxing and the southern Alps were beautiful. All in all a wonderful few days with good accommodations.
