A great little way to see the foody sights of Kyoto. Our guide Boas made even a rainy night in Kyoto an enjoyable one. They choose great local and intimate spots, that make it feel very personal. Shout out the Nicko too for his little bits of wisdom along the way.

Boas was an amazing guide! Very pleasant and fun experience with my sister. We had such a great friendly group and the food was so authentic and cool to experience. Definitely recommend!!

We had a fantastic food tour in Kyoto with Pedro as our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable about both the local food and the restaurants we visited, and he shared interesting stories about Kyoto's culinary culture throughout the tour. His recommendations and insights made every stop even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, the pace was perfect, and we discovered places we never would have found on our own. Pedro is a great tour guide! He's great and carrying conversations while eating at the restaurant stops and seems to have a real interest in everyone's backgrounds.

I wanted an introduction to Kyoto's casual dining scene, and this experience did just that. Alessandro is a sweet and hardworking guide who offered entertaining information on the variety of restaurants we visited and dishes we sampled.

This was such a fun night out in Kyoto with my family. The food was great, and the company and guide were better. Tara was an absolute joy and led us to amazing places with grace and confidence.

Paris and Boas were wonderful and knowledgeable guides. They kept us on time and explained the area and the dishes well. We recommend it! If we did it again we would do an earlier time because everyone was pretty tired by the time we were done. It was a fun way to explore Gion!

Peris and Boas were fantastic. Excellent English and explanation of food and history. The food choices were 3 varied restaurants in hidden corners of Ponto Cho and Ghion districts with a special desert to cap the evening. I expected standing room or Nishiki market but was pleasantly surprised by full sit down restaurant experiences. The tour guides were sweet and humble with earnest interest in giving tourists a great experience.

All the food was amazing!! Thunder and Manu did an awesome job guiding, entertaining, and informing our group! 10/10 would recommend for any groups looking to find a few new hidden yummy spots in Kyoto.
