It was such a nice tour. Made a lot of lifetime memories. The tour guide Dani was such a sweet guy and so enthusiastic. Asep was a really good driver. We had a blast.

It was amazing, we did a lot of different things. Dani was a perfect guide and Asep was a really good driver, overall just a perfect experience!

Well organized and entertaining tour with many highlights! One is traveling with private guide + driver. Dani, our guide was open, entertaining and informative. During the volcanic hike he was in his element and could show us many details and explain them to us. For the hikes, it is recommended to wear sports gear, because Dani was tough and found trails that require a certain sportiness to tread. The tour is a good mix of nature (volcanoes, rice fields, tea plantations, forest and water). The sunrise at Papandayan was indescribable! Also our driver was friendly and most importantly, we felt safe in the car all the time, despite Indonesian traffic. The hotels/accommodations are perfectly fine for the short stays. In Garut we still got to know Umien, the actual organizer of the trip. Again, one quickly noticed the openness and friendliness, Umien also did everything to make our trip unforgettable, so he showed us Garut as we would never have known it otherwise. We can only recommend the tour, you come into contact with Indonesia much more than with a trip without a local guide and also the routes would have been very far and strenuous to organize privately. After that, however, it definitely takes 1-2 days to let all the experiences sink in... at least that was the case for us! Absolutely recommend!

Our guide, Umien, was awesome. He accompanied us on all aspects of the tour, providing us with insights into the Indonesian culture and coordinating/translating with site guides. He helped us take some amazing pictures and create some awesome experiences that we will cherish forever. We had a personalised trip, often away from the bustling crowds, which gave us a more intimate experience with Java. We highly recommend this tour and can't thank Umien and our driver, Asep, enough.

We had the chance to meet Umien who took the time to show us his region, the papadayan volcano off the beaten track with Dani! With a night in a great family ecolodge, in short, all the ingredients for a successful excursion! A very nice meeting for a discovery of the authentic region and at the top!

I recommend this tour to everyone! After a week in big cities we travelled to Bandung and stayed overnight in the Neo Moritz Hostel. That same evening we decided with Umien (tour guide) and another couple to start the 3-day tour the next morning. Umien organized everything: Driver, overnight stay, water, activities. We didn't have to worry about anything. During these days we experienced a lot of unforgettable things: visiting tea and rice fields, bathing in hot springs, sunrise on the Papandayan, drinking Kopi Luwak, bathing in the Green canyon and Green valley and surfing in Batu Karas for the first time. We finally extended our stay at Villa Devi in Pangandaran by 4 days. It is great that Umien has many years of experience, likes to travel himself and comes from this region. We could never have explored so much in such a short time without a local guide. Afterwards, these days with Umien, his brother and the other couple were unforgettable. It was the best week during the 5-week trip through Java and Lombok.

We did the 3-days-trip with Umien and it was great. We have seen so many wonderful things that we will remember for a long time. Umien is a great guide. He is constantly trying to do the best for his guests. He also organizes local guides for the different sights. The attractions aren't overcrowded by tourists and are definitely worth a visit. On this tour we experienced the most beautiful moments on our journey. If you have the opportunity to do such a tour - do it. You won't be disappointed. Thank you so much Umien for this experience!
