We were welcomed well, the instructors speak English very well. It was a friendly atmosphere and we learned how to make a few basic Japanese recipes. Our only regret is not having been able to do more things ourselves, like miso soup for example. But a very good time overall.

It was great! Super nice chef, very skilled and with perfect English. I can highly recommend it.

We took the sushi class at Cooking Sun in Tokyo as a family in August and had a lot of fun! The two instructors were incredibly nice, dedicated, and organized the class with a lot of joy. In addition to the dishes, they also gave us interesting insights into Japanese culture and cooking in Japanese families. The class was well structured and the 3 hours flew by. The homemade food tasted delicious and we were completely satisfied. A great experience that we as a family are very happy to recommend!

The sushi making class was amazing. The 2 instructors were so knowledgeable and encouraging. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

The instructors made our experience super fun by teaching us tricks of the trade, taking the time to answer every question and just keeping the entire class engaged. This is a must experience!

Yummy and educational way to spend the afternoon. If anything we made too much food. We could have gone for a slightly quicker pace, but overall a really wonderful time. Friendly teachers and clean location.

Great experience. Informative and fun. I ended up making amazing Sushi and will be able to do it back home. Loved the two ladies instructors. Highly recommended.

We were a big group of about 17 people yet everyone managed to be included! The teachers were amazing and really kind. They explained everything very well, included is with small questions, taught us some japanese manners and helped us make AMAZING sushi. I really recommend this!

Super fun experience! Not only did we learn to make sushi, but we also learned about history, culture, and geography of Japan. Definitely recommend.

Miki and Yuki were fabulous during our family’s sushi making class. The instructor, Miki, was a wonderful and kind person who taught us cooking techniques and educated us about some of the nuances of Japanese history and culture of which we were not aware. She was able to connect with each member of my family and was also patient and helpful when some of us were not always at the same level as others. The recipes were easy to follow with their guidance as well as some advance prep work they did. I do feel like we would be able to replicate many of the recipes at home. Would highly recommend to anyone regardless of skill level and would love to go back and do other classes with them.
