Fantastic day out. The three tasting venues are really special- nothing you’d ever find yourself. Our guide Andre was brilliant - friendly, witty and very knowledgeable.

We spent the day with our guide Tiago and it couldn’t have been a better trip. From pick up to arriving back in Porto, Tiago was the best. The trip offered great tastings of wine and the food was fantastic. Tiago kept ahead of the other groups, and knew how to make the experience best for us (eating in the shade, telling us folklore, singing songs in the van, etc). We learned about Portuguese wine, and life in the Duoro Valley. He really made the day a great one for us. Would highly recommend this tour and Tiago for anyone who wants a fabulous wine tour of the Duoro Valley.

Andre was the best guide ever. The tour exceeded our expectations. The stops were all perfect. Not crowded wineries and lunch and port tasting was spectacular Andre went out of his way to make sure everyone was having a great time. Would definitely book his tour again if we are ever in Porto again.

This was one of the best tours we have ever had! Visiting the wineries and going on a cruise on the Douro River was very enjoyable. Our tour guide/host Tiago was excellent! I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to visit Douro Valley (and ask for Tiago if available)!

Fantastic day touring the Douro Valley wine country. Tiago Mendes was an incredible tour guide. He was very informative and knowledgeable about all things Portugal. Highly recommend him and this tour!

This was one of the experiences I was most excited for, and with the help of our guide Tiago Mendes it did not disappoint! For the price of admission I truly think it was the best thing we did while in Portugal (and we’ve had many absolutely wonderful experiences while here). It never felt crowded, and our guide Tiago did his best to get us to our next stop before the other groups to avoid that busy/crowded feeling. We loved trying the different wines (there were many different kinds from Tawny’s, Ruby’s, Verde’s, Red’s and White’s) and we felt it was great for both experienced wine drinkers, and those who have no prior experience. We also were able to try some amazing olive oils which was a very nice addition. The lunch was very good (I recommend the Bacalhau a Bras), and Tiago was able to get us the best table in the house, under the shade of a beautiful tree! Over our 9-10 hour experience, we were graced by the beautiful atmosphere of the Douro Valley in more than one way. The 3 separate stops added depth to the trip I was not expecting, there is more than one vibe to the Douro and this tour does a great job of expressing that. The boat ride was very much worth the added cost, it was amazing to see the beauty of the vineyards from the river’s point of view. And a review wouldn’t be complete without another shout out to our amazing guide Tiago! He was welcoming, knowledgeable, funny, and we just absolutely loved what he added to the experience! He knew so much about the area and he seemed to be very well endeared by the locals. He’s not just another tour guide, we truly did feel like we walked away with a new friend! I cannot recommend this tour enough and if you have the ability, try and ensure you get put with the greatest guide in the Douro, Tiago Mendes!

This was an amazing trip made all the better by our fantastic guide, Luis. The pickup was on time and our small group of four couples were transported to the Duoro Valley area in comfort. We cannot recommend this experience enough, the breathtaking scenery, the superb hospitality at all the winerys, the excellent food and exceptional wine and port. Luis explained everything and gave us his insights and advice throughout. We were an English couple, a Polish couple and two French couples and we all made friends and the trip was filled with laughter and humour, So enjoyable. A special mention to Rita - a host at Cara dos Barros who plied us with Port and was both informative and hilarious. An unforgettable day.

Luis was our guide and, well… he absolutely made the whole day! ❤️ What a wholesome, informative and genuinely lovely man. Every stop was beautiful, with the most perfect views, and we were given plenty of time at each one without ever feeling rushed. Such a lovely experience from start to finish, made even more special by Luis. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would 100% recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We enjoyed this tour so much! Our guide, Tiago was awesome! He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and had a good sense of humour. We would definitely recommend this tour rather than a bigger bus tour as we felt we really got a more local, personalized experience as a group of 8. Highly recommend if you’re coming to the Porto area!!
