A very interesting step back in time to understand the history of this place and its olive oil making over thousands of years. The wines we were given were all lovely. The people here were extremely accommodating as we had turned up a day early and they were essentially closed for a wedding, but they went out of their way to still give us the tour and tasting. Thankyou very much Abbie for doing this for us. Your wine knowledge was amazing.

Highly recommended!
We booked the tour for 7:30 PM—the perfect time for the sunset. It was a great tour, followed by excellent wines! We also booked a delicious dinner afterwards. Friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Amazing masseria tour and wines, not to be missed!
Following a tour of the parco rurale, I tremendously enjoyed a natural wine accompanied by a food tasting. Davide’s wine knowledge, pairing finesse, hospitality and warmth made it a fantastic experience. The scenery of the masseria is breathtaking. The salumi and cheese boards were among the best I have enjoyed so far, sourced locally and paired thoughtfully with the wines. Davide kindly recommended three wines for me to buy from the cellar to take home following my feedback on the wines. This experience is essential to enjoy when you are in Bari and its surroundings.

Well worth the Experience.
Maria Lucia was our personal guide. Her knowledge about the villa, history, geography and English were excellent. We went late in the day and had a private tour as we were the only ones.
The sommelier, David, was excellent and we talked a lot about wines, grapes and agriculture.
The grounds were well maintained and it was very peaceful and serene walking through the olive orchards and seeing the caves where people lived.

BEWARE OF THE CATS
Beware of the cat's. I am allergic to them, and I had to sit with my feet on a chair, and my husband got fle bites. We told them when we arrived and they said they won't come near us, but they were under the tables all the time. It wasn't a pleasant experience.
I did say that they should put something on their website to advise people. I asked for a refund, but they said they would offer a partial refund only if I removed the review.

Absolutely worth doing again...
Beautiful adventure to absolutely do again. Hours spent immersed in nature tasting excellent wines and local products. A special thank you to Davide the sommelier and not only, to stella who, despite a small mix-up, was able to resolve the controversy as best as possible and to rosa who was able to guide us to the suggestive places of Masseria Spina.
