The water can be quite wavy. If you have concerns about sea sickness reconsider a larger vessel. We are boaters but two folks on our trip were unwell especially when we stopped to swim. Our crew was lovely and captain an excellent seaman. Apparently water was left behind. What could have been disastrous for a novice, the at sea transfer of a case of water was deft and quick. The benefit of a small boat being able to enter the caves is such a bonus. So beautiful! Just feet from docking (thankfully) a smoke condition rose from the hull. Unsure of the cause the captain immediately shut the engine. Captain called the coast guard but As we drifted in a bystander was able to take lines from us and tie us off with the help of a passenger (my husband). A more exciting ending to an otherwise lovely voyage than we expected.

This was great fun. Our tour guide Francesco was lovely. There was enough time to see the sites, learn the history and we had an option to go for a swim too. Prosecco/drinks and focaccia was available for us to munch on during the trip :)

Better to leave in the morning for the sun against the light (we left at 3:30 PM) and avoid rough seas - bring swimsuits to enjoy

This is THE boat tour to take!!
We had the most amazing amazing time! First of all the boat was incredibly comfortable. I never expected to be able to recline and relax on a soft mattress the entire ride. Francesco the captain was beyond incredible. He made the experience so fun! The beauty of this area is just phenomenal, we were able to take a swim for about 15 minutes and never expected to be provided with champagne and homemade focaccia!!! The only thing I would warn people is trying to find the locations very difficult. Look for the red and white lighthouse on the point of the area where you are told to park.

The young man was both friendly, happy and constantly checked that we were all ok, he is a credit to your Company. (Sat 5 Sept 13.00) The trip was great with plenty time to swim and the snacks were appreciated.

Great Way To Spend An Early Evening!!
Had such a great time with the young Francesco!!! He was a great captain who made all the passengers have a great time. Swimming under the grotto restaurant was amazing and driving home under a full moon topped off this great experience!

Had a fantastic time with Francesco! We loved the experience, from the group and the playlist to the Prosecco & foccacia, everything was lovely! It was one of the best things ever swimming in the sunset waters, in front of Polignano a Mare, just unforgettable ❤️

The perfect break
We had a perfect trip, visiting the grottos and seeing Polignano a Mare from the seaside. We stopped for a swim, a glass of prosecco and fresh focaccia outside beautiful Polignano. Our captain seemed to love his job and made the trip even better with his good mood. A perfect escape from the heat of the city when visiting Monopoly
