Amazing Masai Mara experience! The entire trip was very well organised. A big shoutout to our guide and driver, Joseph!! He was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and always seemed to know the best spots for wildlife sightings. He made the safari fun, comfortable, and truly memorable. Highly recommended!!
My husband and I did 2 nights in Samburu, 1 night in Nakuru, and 3 nights in Masai Mara, and it was a memorable experience. Our guide was John, and he played an important role in making the trip exceptional. John is knowledgeable, knows the parks and wildlife well, is a great spotter, and an excellent driver. At Samburu, we saw lions, leopards, cheetahs, and most of Samburu’s Special Five. Only because of his judgment did we have a great sighting of a cheetah at Samburu. At Nakuru, we saw a pride of lions feeding, black and white rhinos, and many birds. At Masai Mara, we saw countless lions (more than 20 every day), cheetahs, leopards feeding, lions feeding, and lions with small cubs. And to top it all, we even saw a river crossing at Sand River, again because of John’s judgment. He never rushed us at any sighting and never got tired of showing us animals, even when it was a long day of driving for him. He was very pleasant and informative, and he was friends with most of the other guides, which helped with sightings. Above all, he was very kind to everyone around him, both animals and humans. We stayed at Sopa lodges at Samburu and Nakuru, both were excellent, at Masai Mara we stayed at Jambo mara, rooms were good but food was not. Moses from Jockey helped us in planning, email replies were quick. Only thing to note is that Jocky charges extra for card payments, clarify this. They gave us best deal.
We went on safari to celebrate our honeymoon, and we were lucky enough to have Moses accompanying us. He is an incredible guy — extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and always happy to explain everything to us. He would regularly stop to share interesting information and always gave us plenty of time and freedom to take as many photos as we wanted. You can really tell he has a lot of experience with safaris from the way he drives and approaches the animals, always keeping a safe and respectful distance and prioritizing their well-being and preservation. He was always punctual, available, and attentive throughout the entire experience. I would 100% recommend Moses to anyone looking for an amazing safari experience!
Jacob is a true professional, took us to see the Big Five in just two days with 4 of them being on the first day. Excellent driver, took us to see the animals without stressing them or annoying the wildlife. He spots animals with ease from hundreds of meters away and overall is a great great guide

We stayed at Mara Serena lodge hotel, which was neat from the start to the end. Great food and excellent service! Nevertheless, the point of differentiation was our guide Ali in the game drives. We had an absolute blast with him, he took us to the best places to find all animals around, always getting there before all other guides. He is so experienced he literally smells the animals to find them. If you are planning a trip to Mara, do yourself a favor and ask for Ali

We had an absolutely wonderful 3 days experience with Jocky Tours and Safaris on our Maasai Mara safari. Everything was clearly explained, and we were well looked after throughout the trip. A special mention must go to our incredible tour guide, Junior, who was truly exceptional. His extensive experience, deep knowledge of the Maasai Mara ecosystem, and strong background and understanding of the Maasai people made a huge difference to our experience. He knew the park extremely well and was remarkably skilled at locating wildlife. Junior went above and beyond to help us find as many animals as possible, including the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino. His ability to spot animals that were often difficult to see was remarkable, and he always took the time to explain what we were seeing and share fascinating information about the animals, the environment and the Maasai culture. What impressed us most was his dedication and genuine passion for his work. He was patient, professional, friendly and attentive to our family, including our children. He made every game drive exciting and memorable and always did his very best to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. In our opinion, Junior is the best person for the job. His massive experience, knowledge of the Mara and understanding of the local Maasai community make him an outstanding safari guide. Having Junior as our guide was one of the highlights of our trip, and we feel very fortunate to have had him. The Maasai Mara itself was breathtaking, and thanks in large part to Junior’s expertise and determination, we were able to see an incredible variety of wildlife and have an experience that our family will remember for many years to come. We highly recommend Jocky Tours and Safaris, and if you are fortunate enough to have Junior as your guide, you are in excellent hands. He truly made our safari special. We would definitely choose Jocky Tours and Safaris again!
