A fabulous educational resource for learning about wine! Better than the wine museum in Bordeaux in my opinion! Loved the inclusion of bottles and cork!!!

Great tour and guide to wine tasting the host told us about the wines and area what to look for smell and taste really enjoyed the experience & well worth doing especially if you’ve done the pink tour as well !!

Best museum I have ever visited. New, very detailed design, thorough explanations, extremely good use of multimedia, selfie spots, quizzes, stimulates all the senses. So beautiful. Tastings in small groups are better: choose to join later if you see too many persons already there. Included in the day pass. The shop and the staff are also great.

This was a great museum! It gives a run through the wine making process from start to finish, including sparkling and ports. Great for adults, not great for children. Favorite part was the gallery with all of the grapes grown in Portugal, presented in a fun way. Tasting of white, red and port at the end was a great wrap up. Highly recommend as long as you have a slight interest in wines.

The visit was with three young children, we thought they would be bored more, but they were quite entertained. At the end of the visit you have a tasting, where a girl gives you an explanation about each wine. They give you a white, a red and a port.

Really interesting and well presented, covers everything from the grapes to the process to the barrels and bottles. Wine tasting at the end a nice bonus!

If you like wine or not the pure genius with which it's presented is enticing all your senses and inredible knowledge presented in depth but so concise. It's interactive as well which h is a bonus. The artwork used to tell stories are incredible. It's a must do in Porto especially on a rainy day so we almost had the whole place to ourselves. All the employees are very friendly and helpful as well. Well done Porto, I wish we had one.

Excellent overview of how wine is made and to be enjoyed. Plus, you get a tasting of three wines at the end of the tour. Highly recommend recommended.

For those who want to know a bit about wine, this experience illustrates the whole origin of wine, from: - various soil types for vineyard cultivation, sun exposure and microclimate, - Various types of grapes, grafts, arrangement of the vineyards, pruning types, - vindima, how to make white and red wines, etc. The simple opening of a bottle has behind it a panoplie of human activity, where nature takes precedence over everything.
