We were initially planning to travel East Java without a tour service but are very glad we didn’t! My sister and I did the 3D4N tour from Surabaya and booking with EJPT was far less complicated than trying to organise the trip ourselves. English isn’t well-spoken in Java and we would have found it hard to get around without our excellent guide, Tony. Him and our driver, Nandra, were great company and we always felt safe. We found EJPT on Google and chose them due to the availability of information on the website, which seems to be more detailed than other operators. They were also incredibly responsive over WhatsApp, checking in through-out the trip and were generally very friendly and easy to deal with. The trip itself was great. Tony and Nandra made sure we always left early to get to spots before they became packed with tourists. This did mean a lot of early starts and plenty of ‘free time’ in the afternoons, which we initially weren’t sure what to do with. However, after the early starts (1am, 6am, 12am) began to take their toll, we happily used this time to catch up on sleep. Even with the early starts, I was surprised by just how many tourists there were, especially at Bromo and Ijen. Don’t expect a quiet sunrise! Overall we had an excellent experience with EJPT and would recommend to anyone looking to visit the main attractions in East Java! However I wouldn’t rush to do the attractions themselves again, simply due to over-tourism, which does somewhat take away from the experience. Thank you Tony, Nandra and EJPT!

We did a 3days tour coverage mount Bromo and mount Lidjen starting from Surabaya and ending in Bali with very good team. This is our first time to visit Java, and find a proper company to handle our tour is important for us. We found East Java Paradise travel while browsed and got in contact with them. Communication via WhatsApp was so easy and helpfull with complete propose itinerary and details needs. The first we visited Bromo from Surabaya and we made stop at Madakuripira falls before heading to accommodation. This waterfall is so impressive with all challanging road but must see. On the next morning we got to Bromo and wake up early about 2:30am for the sunrise. We think it is so early and why. But our guide Tony arrange this trip very well. He told us that our trip is on the weekend and must be crowded road at sunrise. We follow Tony's advice and we made a good moment of sunrise with a little luck at least not got stuck - weekend is so crazy Jeep traffic jam. On the third day we started midnight towards mount Lidjen. We got a very impressive sunrise view and the lake. Sadly we don't get a blue fire due to danger situation at this time. But we are totally wants to come back again to Lidjen for the blue fire with this company. Overall our trip is amazing with east Java paradise and very good team. Both guide Tony and driver Rizal are good man and very professional in handling our trip. Rizal drove very smooth and we fell safe with him. Highly recommended to anyone when travel to Java with east Java paradise travel as they are a local company and know very well what to do to make the tour run perfect.

We had an amazing experience with our driver, Helmi Radit. He was extremely kind, professional, and always made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the whole trip. His driving was very safe and smooth, and he was always helpful, patient, and positive. You can really tell he cares about his guests and wants them to enjoy the experience. Highly recommended to anyone visiting East Java — thank you again Helmi for making our trip even better!

Going with a local tour made everything so much easier! We traveled with Tony (our local guide) and Faiz (our driver), and they were both fantastic. Tony speaks great English, is super friendly, and explained everything clearly at every stop. Faiz drove us safely through long and sometimes challenging routes, which made the whole journey comfortable. The tour arranged all the places we visited, accommodations, and transportation. It saved us a lot of time and avoided the usual travel headaches. They also took great care of us throughout the trip, always checking if we were okay and adjusting things when needed. It felt very personal, not like a typical rushed tour. Some schedules can be quite early or flexible depending on weather and conditions. Overall, we had an amazing time in East Java with this tour.

The overall experience provided by east java paradise travel is great. Very convenient to have a local guide with good english communication and willing to support our requests. We book as a group of 6 pp, travel comfortably by a van which i think the suitable group size for this trip.
