Very good service from Jenny. Andy was very enthusiastic and we enjoyed the kayaking and food/ cocktails while enjoying the views of Halong Bay. The only thing that would be better is less rubbish and diesel in the bay as this will impact the environment.

Staff has taken my 150 USD from purse and 200 USD from my other Group member Sudip Gupta by these cheap people of brave country... Very bad experience of Amanda... Will write in all my social media network FB. Insta. LinkedIn. X. Etc. We are also taking up with local authorities. Dontbtakenthis cruise. Their staff do theft when we go for activities.

Incredible experience. The trip itself on the boat was amazing. We got to swim, visit a cave and kayak. The manager Tony and staff member Andrew stood out with their hospitality and incredible humour! The reason for the removal of one star is the bus ride to the boat, through this company. We were dropped off at a "rest stop," which wasn't in the itinerary and pushed into a silk factory for an hour. We were pushed into a room and encouraged to buy random products. When we asked to leave we were told to wait 25mins and our bus was locked. Other than that, was great.
Kevin, our host on board & his team were exemplary. He went above and beyond to make our experience with Amanda Premiums tour as memorable as he possibly could. From the moment we boarded until we disembarked the following day. He was professional, friendly and hardworking throughout our whole trip. I attended the Cooking class & Tai chi session which were both conducted by Kevin which were very enjoyable. He also got me up to try bamboo dancing, brilliant. Thank you Kevin for making my Halong Bay cruising the highlight of my Vietnam trip, and one that I will take again
Vivu Travel booked our one night stay with Amanda Cruises March 2026. What a fantastic experience! Yes, it was one night, but it was a fully packed first day, sleep, and fully packed morning before departing. The food was the best we had on our 18 day excursion in Vietnam (though we loved all the food). Dan the Man, tour guide on The Amanda, was personal, fun, and energetic. They definitely make your one-night stay a memorable experience! We had three excursions, and each of them were great! One recommendation-- if you can, book during the week rather than a week-end. We had a Sunday-Monday cruise, and the Monday was half as busy as the Sunday.
The cruise was awesome, great food, splended views and the crew were so attentive like leon and david.
If you want to enjoy the peaceful and magical atmosphere of Halong Bay, DON’T choose Amanda Premier Cruise. The staff is disrespectul of customers’ needs and the acoustic pollution, coming from very loud music on the ship, is absolutely unbearable in such a natural environment. Hot water missing. WIFI not available in the most expensive cabins.

On the day of your trip, there was a large group of guests onboard. As part of our regular program, music and entertainment activities are organized in the afternoon and evening for guests to enjoy. However, our staff did immediately assist by lowering the volume. Regarding Wi-Fi, please kindly note that the cruise operates in the middle of Halong Bay, where the signal can sometimes be weak due to the maritime environment. We appreciate your comments and will continue improving our services for a better guest experience.
Great 2 night stay. 2 nights is a must as otherwise on a day trip or 1 night you miss so much of the inner island and bays. The main bay is so so busy and commercialised, huge boat car park. Boat and team was very nice. Like most rating Vietnam 4 or 5 star is not western, but is was fine. Balcony is a must. Cruise manger and wife with team excellent service and accommodating . We traveled with Amanda Halong Cruise as a family for 2 days and 1 night, and it was a truly memorable experience. The trip started perfectly with a luxurious bus pickup from our hotel, including smooth baggage handling. There was a short stop for shopping local handmade items, followed by arrival at Amanda’s well-organized recreation office at Halong Bay. After document verification, we were allotted two luxury rooms. The boarding was lively and fun with traditional drum beats. The climate was cloudy and best for outings, no rain. Once onboard, the staff explained the full itinerary clearly. The buffet lunch had many options, and we were very happy to find Indian food, which we really enjoyed. Dinner and breakfast were also delicious. The rooms were spacious, modern, and beautifully decorated, with all modern facilities and a private balcony. Our luggage was already placed near our rooms, and the welcome decoration in room was a lovely surprise. The staff were extremely polite, cooperative, and caring, always trying their best to keep every guest happy. Evening and night activities were well planned and enjoyable, with drinks and food. They planned cooking class for making Vietnam Dish. Overall, Amanda Cruise made our family trip to Halong Bay comfortable, relaxing, and unforgettable. Highly recommended! — CS Dharma Veer Jashnani
