There was no experience we spent over two hours at two different stops trying to board the trolley that never came. I wanted to take this to her because my husband is not good in his health or walking and this is a way to see Washington DC where my husband didn’t have to do a lot of walking, and that opposite happened, we walked and walked and walked to try to find the trolley at different stops and finally gave up and ordered a lift to take us back home I was excited to take this tour and it was a total disaster, and I will never book it again.

This was a great way to get around to a lot of sites without having to walk so much. I did appreciate that they picked us up at a stop that was close to our hotel instead of making us go the starting point. We had 3 different narrators but each of them were good and were very friendly. The transfer to the Arlington shuttle went very smooth and they did a great job also. The shuttle in Arlington gave us a really good overview of interesting facts about this cemetery and made 4 stops to allow us to get off and visit the most iconic grave sites. We even got to see the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers. That was very moving. It was definitely a worthwhile activity, especially if you only have a day or two to visit DC.

Don't go when there are dignitaries in DC! The drivers were wonderful and patient only so much they could do. We should have been given the option of canceling. We waited over an hour to get on the bus at Union Station. Given partial tour of city, too many streets closed to see everything. Did not have time to get off to enjoy any of the museums because we had to get to Arlington (which we paid for separately) that took up a big chunk of our time (well worth it!) Yes, we could have seen the outdoor memorials, but how much would we have had to pay to get back to Union Station? We barely made the last tram from Arlington to Union Station & that took well over an hour to maneuver through the city full of rush hour, traffic & road closures. Again, the drivers did their best in a terrible situation!

Plan your day by getting to Union Station SUPER early! We drove around the parking garage nearly 30 minutes before finding a spot. However, the tour was amazing! We did not get to do the Cemetery, which I did pay extra for, due to running out of time. We started the tour at 10:30, and got on the last trolly at stop 15 at 4pm. I wish there was a two day ticket available. However, the Guides were great! And we enjoyed seeing so many of the places.

Quick over view of DC. Unfortunately when we were there the Mall was blocked by a grandstand used for the RAF and there were detours due to the security measures in place. I would choose this again when it was all accessible.

Apart from the rain it was a really good experience. We got to hear 4 different drivers on the route, all drawing from their own unique perspective. Birdie was especially engaging! Even with the rain we would recommend sitting by a window without the plastic pulled down. It makes for a better picture taking experience.

Great tour ; received insightful information that we would not have had. Excellent way to have an overview of the sights ..this was the best for Arlington cemetery

Complete tour and excellently narrated.

The cut off at 3:45 is a bit of a bummer. We would have like to take a loop around and the get off. But with the timing and driver encouraging us to get off so we “don’t waste time” it was a weird vibe. Also, the driver was a great tour guide so we would liked more time with that.
