Bus driver Darrell was a hoot! He joked with us, told us some of his family history even before everyone was on the bus. He made sure I got onto the bus safely by lowering the step when possible and even offered his arm to grab. Larry our guide was born and raised in WA DC, and an athlete, so he told us interesting little known trivia. They were very accommodating helping this senior get around and onto/off the bus. I was not the only one who was movement impaired. Once my walker and another scooter was stowed under the bus they stayed safely there until the end. A ramp and elevator took me to the level where the statue of Abraham Lincoln was and I was able to get some awesome pictures. I highly recommend Darrell and Larry for this tour of the Washington DC Monuments at night.
Mr James and Kris were so kind. Kris messaged me to make sure I made the tour on time and even helped me catch up on the next stop when I needed to step off for work. Mr. James has given so many tours around DC. He’s a true expert! I learned so much and would highly recommend taking a tour with them.

Dwayne our tour guide was very knowledgeable. My family was very impressed by what he taught and how he taught it. He had a lot of passion which gave my older sons zeal to learn more about our nation history. I was bummed when the tour was over, because his passion was contagious that my family and I would love to have stayed longer in the area to visit the many historical sights and memorials that DC had to offer. Highly recommend this tour.

The view through the tinted windows was limited and there were too many people. I was expecting a van, not a full size bus.

This is a great tour for giving you an overview of the sites and monuments of the city. I suggest doing it as one of the first events during your trip then you can decide what monuments and places to go back to.

This was FABULOUS!!! Dwayne was our tour guide, and he was sooo knowledgeable!! The monuments were also gorgeous lit up at night! It was our favorite part of our whole trip!!!

The tour guide, James, seemed very knowledgeable, but he was impolite, condescending, and excessively long-winded. His stories were confusing and often repetitive, with too much focus on irrelevant personal experiences. It was so disappointing that I chose to leave the tour early and continue on my own. I have taken many tours with Viator, but this was the first time I felt compelled to walk out. I firmly believe I deserve a partial refund due to this unsatisfactory experience. While I’m sure James has good qualities, he simply lacks the skills to keep you engaged. The company needs to address his attitude and delivery. I expect my request for a partial refund to be considered.
