Leonor was an exceptional tour guide! Our food and drinks were great and from places we probably wouldn’t have stopped at as tourists! We learned so much about Lisbon’s history and food culture.

After having been in Lisbon for three days and going non stop, Saturday was my first day I had to move slow, and the last thing I wanted to do was go on another tour. The other tours were all great I was just tired and wanted to be on my own agenda. I missed the window for the free cancellation and thought “okay, I’ll go to not lose money and it’ll be my dinner and I’ll meet some people at the very least”. Maybe I’m just finally Over my Jet lag but that was one of my favorite tours. As a tourist, you don’t want to feel like a tourist, and the places we went to and places we ate were areas I would have never gone to on my own or trusted. The people on the tour were amazing and our guide, Joana, was PERFECT. Her social skills and awareness of individuals and the group were so impressive. Half way through she asked how one of the guests knew was feeling as she mentioned she had knee pain. She knew when to step back and let us enjoy connecting, and when to rein us in when we started wandering off like stray cats. It was the perfect amount of food, amount of time and amount of people. I didn’t even want to go and I’m so happy I did. Highly recommend if you’re tired, if you’re traveling solo or with a group, and if you want a behind the scenes experience of what helps make the food scene in Lisbon so great.

We had such a wonderful experience on our food tour tonight! Joana was an amazing guide. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and so much fun to spend the evening with. She shared interesting stories about the food, culture, and local area while taking us to some delicious spots. Everything felt relaxed and well organized, and we got to try a great variety of local flavors. Joana really made the experience special. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Joana as your guide!
