Camila was an exceptional guide! Very educational about the history of the food of Portugal but she took us to amazing, off-the-beaten-path restaurants we never would have found or experienced.

Gabi was a wonderful guide. Never thought there was such a thing as gif history, but there is, and it was very interesting! Gabi was a wonderful host!

Leonor was incredible. So knowledgeable about the city, neighborhoods, food and wine. The selected restaurants, food and wine offered a perfect cross section of Portuguese dishes and culture. Highly recommend the private tour to avoid larger groups for a more personal experience .

My husband and I had a fun afternoon on the food tour with Amanda. We were a group of 12 and had such fun together during the tour. All the dishes we tasted were good and we enjoyed the history and background that Amanda provided. The climb up the hill to get to the second part of the tour burned a lot of calories but was worth it in the end. Highly recommend this tour.

I can’t say enough great things about Melissa. She subbed for our original assigned guide who was sick and we are so happy we got her! We walked, stopping off at about 5 or 6 places- each stop was delicious. Melissa made sure I had a different dish at one place because I don’t eat seafood. She also found my husband a bank ATM. This was a wonderful way to not only see the city and eat the food, but also to learn about the culture through Melissa. We really feel like we made a friend. This was a big highlight of our stay in Lisbon!

We always book a food tour whenever we visit a new city. And this one did not disappoint. Our host was Miguel and he was not only charming and educated, he gave us insights into the food we ate and the history of the owners. He brought us to restaurants we would have never found on our own, one of which we liked so much we went back for lunch the next day. It is always a pleasure to hear the history of the countries we visit, and Miguel is extremely knowledgeable about all thing Portugal. Highly recommend.

We had an excellent three-and-a-half-hour food tour of Lisbon with Leonor, visiting five different establishments along the way. The food was excellent and plentiful, the wine and beer flowed generously, and we felt the whole experience represented very good value for money. Leonor was a superb guide — knowledgeable, personable and genuinely interested in everyone in the group. Her insights into Lisbon, its food culture and the places we visited gave us a much better understanding of the city and highlighted things we would never otherwise have noticed. She also followed up with a fantastic list of recommendations that we’ll definitely use during this and future visits. Great food, great company and an excellent guide. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and an easy five stars.
