I (28) and my brother (30) went on the two day Inca Trail tour with camping. It was perfection and the highlight of our Peru trip. I was going back and forth with a few companies but I’m so glad I went with TreXperience, it was only 7 of us in our group so everyone felt taken care of the entire time. Our guide, David, did an incredible job, helped us all take breaks when we needed, told us the history, and had a great attitude the whole time. And the food was amazing throughout. Highly recommend. They handled everything including all entrances and bus and train and just every ticket so it felt super taken care of.

Highly recommend this trail. A little bit challenging but really quite 'doable' with even moderate fitness level. The guide makes sure there is a good (sensible) walking pace with plenty of breaks. So the slower walkers don't feel under pressure. The food which is prepared along the trail was really amazingly high quality, it really was restaurant standard. Trout in creamy sauce; avocado salads; traditional style chicken dishes, rice, fresh banana bread and beautiful fresh fruit. Also plenty of clean (boiled) water available at each stop. All the walkers kept well for the trip, no upset tummies. The groups are small and people are from all over the world but everyone got along very well. We still keep in touch with people from the group. Most important 'til last... we did a few other small treks with trexperience on this trip and all the guides are great ! Romario led this 2 day walk, he is such a kind soul, he spoke about his life growing up in this area and the stories from his father and grandfather. He has really good knowledge of the environment and he chats away as we walked through jungles and forests. Romario stopped at one point, pulled some grasses and proceeded to show us how traditional ropes are made, in no time he has a strong 'rope' that no one in the group could break. As he makes the rope progressively bigger and stronger he explains what each size would be used for. All these small 'moments' add up over the 2 days and by the end you have a really good understanding of Inca life He's a good photographer and is happy to take snaps, he does pretty wild videos if you want, he calls himself the "human drone". History wise, all the guides are well trained and can speak about the areas they are guiding. Romario is no different, If you show particular interest in something, dont be surprised to receive some follow up info later. Romario is just one of those genuine, authentic people. The gentle and knowledgeable way he led this group was very special. We don't usually do group tours but I have absolutely no hesitation recommending this one.

The most magical experience! The best tour we have ever done - and we’ve done loads! Our guide Jose and his assistant Roberto were both fabulous - helpful, welcoming and so lovely. Also - we had to change our date due to chronic illness and the company were more than accommodating. Their communication was brilliant. We can not recommend TreXperience enough - if you’re looking for the perfect Machu Picchu experience, look no further!

We just returned from a fantastic 6 day Peru trip, planned by Trexperience. We were a group of 8 - a mix of family and friends. The itinerary was well planned and thorough, and the logistics were (airport transfers, train tickets, etc...) perfect. The real difference, though, was our guide, Rene'. He was tireless, and did everything from a Cusco city tour to the short Inca Trail. He was pleasant and knowledgable, and handled a variety of issues with skill and patience!

My friends and I did the 2-day short Inca Trail during our first ever visit to Peru, and it was quite an experience! Everything we needed was all set up for us, and our guide David was simply the best - he went above and beyond for our group! I would definitely recommend Trexperience to anyone looking to do this Inca Trail hike.

We had an incredible trip! The views and the sites along the hike were amazing, and the hike itself was not too strenuous. Our guides, Jose Abad and Roberto, were fantastic. They were very knowledgeable and took great care of the group. Highly recommend this tour!

Had an amazing time with my friend on this tour! The short Inca trail was the perfect difficultly for us and great for those who want just a small taste of the full hiking experience (and prefer a hotel over a tent). Everything was very well-organised and our guide, Jose Abad, was the best! So lovely, knowledgeable and efficient and was the best guide we’ve had in Peru. Thank you!

We had an amazing 2D/1N hike with Rene! He shared his vast knowledge of the Inca culture throughout our trip, and set a great pace, getting us to Machu Picchu with plenty of time to utilize our Circuit 1 ticket on day 1. We also really enjoyed the in-depth Circuit 3 visit on day 2. During our hike, we were very impressed with the seated/plated hot breakfast and lunch, whereas we saw other trekkers eating pre-made meals from paper bags or plastic tubs. The hotel was also very nice - definitely not a dive, but something we would have chosen ourselves. Everything was well organized with good, proactive communication from our booking in April, to planning details during the week leading up to our trek. Rene was a great guide on the trail and ensured that everything went smoothly during our overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Due to the rains/mudslides, our original 4-day Inca Trail hike we booked was unfortunately cancelled. Though there was some initial uncertainty/confusion, TreXperience gave us a choice of a longer 4-day hike and a 2-day hike. We ended up choosing the 2-day hike which provides the essence of the 4-day hike in 2 days. Our guide Rene Sarayasi was amazing, and had intimate knowledge of history and flora along the way, and let us take our own time since it was a private tour. The luxury breakfast and lunch and the Vistadome Observatory Train was also a great experience (kudos to the chef and staff who trekked with all the supplies along the trail). The office staff (we mostly dealt with Acdiel) was also very supportive in getting a refund due to the cheaper 2-day trail vs the original 4-day we had booked. Not to mention the weather was great, and we got a great view of the Machu Picchu site when we arrived at the Sun Gate!

We had a fantastic experience on this two-day, one night exploration of Machu Picchu. Our guide Wilian was amazing. We had a fair bit of rain on the hike up, but Wilian’s persistent enthusiasm, friendliness and expertise made it a really enjoyable experience. All of our travel was arranged well, the overnight accommodation provided a much needed hot shower and everything ran smoothly throughout. We would thoroughly recommend this trip. The one day hike was tough but rewarding, and made us feel that we’d earned the views at the top.
