Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining on our canal cruise. It was so much fun touring the canals and learning about the history and culture of Amsterdam. We enjoyed a great selection of refreshments and cheese platters. The boat fit out was lovely, it was a small group and the canal cruise was great value.

Spent a wonderful 2 hours sailing the canals on the Pure Spirit with Pure Boats. It was great to be in an open air boat that just motored along with only 14 people aboard so it wasn't too big to get down the little canals as well which is what you want. Directions to the pickup area were easy to find and the boat was immaculate (and had a bathroom). To be able to cruise the canals whilst eating unlimited snacks, soft drinks and alcohol was wonderful. The 2 hours went a lot faster than what I expected. Igor was our captain and was able to answer all our questions and was generally interested in finding out where we were all from in the world and where we were travelling to before/after Amsterdam. The weather was beautiful and to see the architecture of the old buildings from the canal side was just fabulous. Would definately recommend Pure Boats company hands down.

We did the two hour sunset cruise which was absolutely perfect! The lights were coming on all the bridges as we made our way through various canals to the Amstel River and the harbor. Our charming and funny guide, Wes, shared lots of interesting facts about the origins and history of Amsterdam, as well as current information on today’s city life, in impeccable English. I had worried the trip might be too long but the time flew by as we enjoyed the wine, light appetizers and the company of our fellow travelers. Highly recommend!

This canal cruise was great for us at 2 hours. Experiencing Amsterdam from the water gave us a different prespective. So much history was explained by Captain John. He is an excellent host (and easy on the eyes…just saying...) The boat we were in was very new and spotless. Overall a very relaxing, fun and informative tour.

We had a wonderful evening cruise seeing Amsterdam from the Stan Huygens, the favourite of Freddie Heineken! The guide was knowledgeable and very entertaining and ensured that our drinks were topped up throughout, The boat was extremely comfortable and we all felt this had been a wonderful end to our day.
