Emma was great! Cool local guide that gave us lots of history and current cultural information. We loved our tour! Highlight of our time in Amsterdam.

The experience and guide (Tim) was fantastic and just what we were looking for, the crew was very accommodating (see below) when we missed our time slot and got us into a later tour. Would have been 5 out of 5 review, except, booked through trip advisor, received the confirmation email, but no email about where to go. Checked junk/spam folder and nothing. Looked around, couldn’t find it and assumed we missed out. Crew called, gave us directions and offered to get us out later. Shouldn’t have had to do that.

Really nice and intimate, Igor was really good and gave us some interesting facts on the tour, good route and helps you appreciate the beauty of Amsterdam. They are a much smaller business compared to the other tours so I would highly recommend thinking about choosing them.

Jack genuinely made our sunset canal tour so special! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We chose the sunset canal tour with Eco Boats, and while seeing Amsterdam from the water at sunset was absolutely beautiful, Jack was honestly what made the experience so memorable for us. He was such a lovely person to spend the evening with! His banter had us laughing throughout the tour, and he had this really natural way of making everyone feel comfortable and included. It felt less like being taken around by a tour guide and more like exploring Amsterdam with someone who genuinely loves the city and wants you to enjoy it too. What we especially loved was how knowledgeable he was. He shared so many interesting facts and little details about Amsterdam, but it never felt scripted or like we were being given a history lesson. Everything came naturally through conversation, and you could ask him questions about anything along the way. Jack, thank you for being so warm, funny and genuinely wonderful company. You turned what would already have been a beautiful sunset boat ride into one of those experiences we’ll actually remember from our trip. The canals were beautiful, the sunset was gorgeous, but the laughs and conversations with Jack were what really made it. ❤️🚤🌅 If you’re booking with Eco Boats and happen to get Jack as your captain, you’re in very good hands!

The canal cruise was disappointing for us. The female assistant spoke from the middle of the boat facing forward. Not once did she turn to face the back of the boat so we could hear better. We asked her to talk louder and she said if she did she would hurt herself! It would be nice if there was a microphone so everyone could hear. There was also banter between her and the driver … inappropriate and unprofessional. The driver did speak about the areas we passed and answered questions but we felt there could have been more information given. There were a lot of long pauses.

This small group open boat tour was a perfect way to spend an hour on the canals of Amsterdam. Mark, our captain, was knowledgeable sharing interesting facts about Amsterdam and the various sites we passed along the way. While there are numerous boat tours on the canals, we would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
