Great experience and a wonderful guide! I’d recommend this tour to everyone. Lots of different food experiences and our guide shared a lot about Istanbul.

Excellent tour, excellent guide. Our guide was local and knew where to go. The food was excellent, plentiful and there was a great variety. Our guide spoke of the many Turkish customs involving food treating us to a cultural experience like no other. Highly recommend.

Ashley was so knowledgeable and made the adventure so much fun. It was amazing to hear of the history and background of the delicious foods that we were able to try. I recommend good walking shoes for a pleasant walking experience.

Loved this Food and Spice tour, would recommend not missing this when in Istanbul. Our guide Bah was excellent, he took us to so many places and the food was amazing. There’s a great variety of foods and you definitely won’t be hungry.

We had a brilliant time. Our guide Huseyin was excellent. He took us on a walking tour of New Istanbul and ferried over to Asia where we tried different foods at each stop. This gave us a completely different view of the foods we know. Things that we normally didn’t like had a totally different taste with the spices and condiments . He also explained how to pair our food and drinks together Huseyin was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. Thank you Huseyin you made this trip amazing. Would definitely recommend this tour and would totally book Shore Excursions again.

Our tour guide lives on Asian side and studied archeology. She had great knowledge of the history of the food and drinks we had. It was by far the best food tour experience we have had. We do this in every European city we go to. This was a 5 hour experience that was absolutely with the time .

I enjoyed the tour. Ashley loves Istanbul and was able to share a lot of information about the city, culture and food. All the food was delicious. The pace was just right. What I also enjoyed was my other tour attendees. Everyone was great. If I had one suggestion it would be to be clearer on the meeting spot. Inside or outside the meeting place. I arrived early but ended up being the last person to join the group as I ended up sitting inside.

Unsal was quite knowledgeable about Turkish food and explained various regional differences in preparation with Turkey. We had a lot of food and ended up skipping dinner. It was nice to explore the markets and cafes on both sides of the Bosporus.

We had a wonderful experience on this food tour! My husband and I love learning about different cultures, and this tour showed us just how much food can tell you about a place and its people. Selen was an outstanding guide. Her passion, humor, and engaging personality made the tour both informative and fun. We stepped outside our comfort zone and tried several foods we would never have ordered ourselves, and we ended up enjoying them all. Overall, this was a memorable experience, well worth the cost, and one that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

This was an awesome tour. Our guide, Ali, was exceptional! So knowledgeable, looked after everyone so well. The food was an excellent variety of Turkish goodness. I would highly recommend this tour. Come with an empty stomach!
