Great day out to Duoro. Ruben was an awesome guide, knowledgeable and funny. The 2 boutique wineries chosen were quaint and love the stories that came with both. Overall, a highly recommended day trip

Truly the best day ever! We had the absolute best time with Leo as our guide. He was so knowledgable on wine, a hoot to be around, and gave tons of recommendations for the remainder of our time in Portugal. Both wineries were stunning and all the wine we had was some of the best ever. The boat trip on the Duoro and all of the stops to take photos and look at the stunning views made this day extra special. Finished it off by being proposed to (so I may be a little biased that this day was my favorite). The rest of our group of 8 were so kind and we became good friends by the end. If I'm ever back in Portugal I would do this trip again, thank you so much for an amazing day and look into the Duoro valley.

We had the best time on this tour! Loved that it was a small group, and we had a great group of people. We enjoyed both wineries amd our guide Leo was awesome. The weather wasn't the best for the boat ride, but it was still pretty. Sr. Adriano at the second winery was our favorite. Definitely recommend!

A great day trip from Porto with Grapes Journeys and Leopoldo, our new beautiful friend! Leopoldo was super knowledgeable and passionate about his work. Highly recommend!

The tour exceeded our expectations and I think it was mainly because of our awesome guide Ruben who made the whole trip very personal and special. He is extremely knowledgeable and provided commentary the whole journey except for the boat trip where he didn’t join for that part. The wineries were small family owned and felt quite unique along with tasting some delicious wines and awesome port wines. The tour was small with only 7 of us and very relaxed. Didn’t feel rushed at all and all of our questions were answered with some surprises along the way. I won’t spoil the surprises but let’s say you may get to experience some fun stuff throughout the tour. Highly recommend and if you can do it with Ruben, would highly recommend.

This tour is way better than the Viator description suggests. The two wineries selected are outstanding and the guide (Leo) is amazing. Enjoy!

We spent a beautiful day in the company of our guide Ruben and six other people. The visits to the wineries were both interesting and fun. We tasted excellent wines and learned new winemaking techniques. There was no shortage of laughs in the company of the other tour participants. A special thanks to Ruben for his professionalism and attention to detail, and to the two producers for the wealth of information and the cordiality with which they welcomed us.

The guide Leopoldo kept the group interested throughout the journey, both on the route and in the wineries. His comprehensive knowledge impressed everyone. We all start timidly and end up, at the end of the day, completely relaxed. This was largely due to his personality, which at all times relaxed the group. It is worth the experience!!!

This was a wonderful wine tour! The first winery we stopped in was so charming, personal, family owned and completely authentic. The gentleman that owned the winery could not have been more extending,charming, pleasant, and informative.The food and wine were delicious! Our tour guide Michael was incredible!!!!! Informative, extending great driver! Took us to so many scenic spots, we also had a delicious lunch all included in the price of this tour. He took so many pictures of us. Honestly he really could not have been nicer and could not have done a better job. We were a family of six and every single one of us enjoyed it immensely! I could not recommend this tour enough.
