Picked up on time. Worth extra money for small group booking. Informative and friendly guide who interacted with entire group. Stops were excellent- boat trip and lunch in particular were relaxed and fun. Negatives- air conditioning could have been a little better in car at the very back and perhaps more water available. A very enjoyable day thank you to Rui our driver.

Amazing district to see. Views beyond expectation. Our driver, Luis, was fantastic. Before we reached our first stop we felt like a family. The river cruise was perfect - just the right amount of time. Lunch was generous and delicious. I learned all about Port wines and the numerous tasting were numerous. Not complaining... just a great amount of tasting different wines.

This tour was everything we expected and MORE! Our tour guide, Louís was so kind and informative and was such a great storyteller! The boat tour guides were also phenomenal, and the lunch was incredible! I honestly could not recommend this tour enough. Everything was perfect!

Luis made the tour an awesome experience. The tour itself was definitely worthwhile. We had a vehicle, it was the right decision to not to drive. Also the small group made the tour more flexible and timely in tour schedule. Picking at my place was a definitely plus.

Luis led us on an excellent and well-coordinated tour of the Douro. Great scenery, great history and insights, really great wine and an exceptional lunch!

Alex was a marvellous guide and all three stops (boat cruise, Quinta do Beijo winery and the restaurant) were fantastic. We would recommend this tour without hesitation.

Our small group tour (8 people total) to the Douro Valley was amazing! Our guide RUI was the BEST - a real fount of information & he ensured that always got the best views of the valley. The tour catered well to the various dietary requirements of our group - gluten free, diary free & no seafood. The table wine & fortified wine (port) tastings were fabulous. Boat tour excellent. The lunch with ‘farm house’ food was below average. An amazing day - highly recommend this tour. Ask for Rui - he’s a great guide!!

We chose this trip as it seemed a bit more personal. Correspondence was excellent when booking and arranging the meeting point. Our guide for the day was David. He was punctual and set us all up for a great day out. Our small Mercedes mini van was ideal, air conditioned and very comfortable. There were 5 people although 8 seats were available. Our 3 other travellers were lovely and made the day out very enjoyable. We had a couple of stops on the way to use restrooms and take pictures of the beautiful scenery. We arrived in Pinhao for a boat trip on the Douro with a few tastings and nibbles, our guide was informative and funny which lightened the day for everyone. The first vineyard was a small family concern and the talk and tastings were just what we needed. The second vineyard was where we had lunch. On arrival we were greeted by the host with welcome drinks. After a short introduction and tour of the kitchen we all sat down to eat and sample the wines. Everything was fantastic and very plentiful and thoroughly enjoyed. The trip back to Porto seemed shorter due to the wine induced nap. A perfect day out with our perfect guide - David.
