Our guide was Nuno and we had a fantastic day . Nuno was very entertaining knowledge and attentive.
The 2 wineries we visited were really good and the passion of the winemakers was remarkable . The scenery ,wine tour wine tasting were superb. Thd Duoro cruise was so chill and scenic
Lunch was excellent and the small group of 8 like minded travellers were great to meet and share the experience

Obrigada, Mafalda!
Mafalda was an amazing tour guide!!! I had the pleasure of sitting next to her in the front seat and truly enjoyed getting to know her. Since she is a Douro Valley native, I really appreciated hearing her perspective on the region. Plus, of course she kindly had an answer to all of my many questions! We had a great day and I highly recommend this tour.

Great
We really enjoyed our excursion, the two wineries, the wine and port tasting as well as the excellent lunch at the second estate were superb, and the boat trip was also pleasant.
Our guide Luis was pleasant, knowledgeable, and attentive.

A good time was had by all…..
A wonderful tour- our guide Luis (aka Portuguese Jesus) was born in the Douro Valley & his family still makes wine there so he knew so much about the process & the families. The two wineries we visited were small & family run. We could only purchase wine from the first. We sampled wine/food pairings & had lunch at the second. Food was amazing & plentiful. It was a really personalized experience as one of us was not a wine drinker & they provided for him also. Our group sang all the way home.

We had an excellent trip...
We had an excellent trip out to the Douro valley. Excellent driver with great locations and hosts along the way! We were able to taste (in very generous portions) multiple Porto wines with beautiful scenery!
The boat ride was an excellent addition to the trip!

Wonderful experience with one negative note
The excursion is highly recommended. Mafalda, the guide, looked after us during the entire trip and explained many interesting facts regarding the surroundings and the wine. The boat tour is very beautiful, the setting is wonderful and not crowded at all, and the tastings and the food were very good. I am not giving a 5 in the final rating because there was a moment when I felt ripped off. At the Quinta Dos Castelares wine tasting, they charged us 24 euros for a wine that costs 14.99 euros both on their website and in any wine shop in Porto, as we were able to verify upon our return. Perhaps it is not the fault of the trip organizers, but I think those things should be controlled, since it left us with a bitter memory of what was an overall very positive experience.
