We had an amazing day with our driver, Matthew, and the other guests on this trip. We had tastings throughout the day beginning with the boat cruise, a small family owned winery and a winery cooperative, which was a fascinating collaboration of farmers and the cooperative. Lunch was delicious at a local restaurant. Matthew was very attentive, positive, and a fun guide, providing insightful answers to all our questions.
Full day. Sampling wine. 3 course meal. Fun trip. Fab Poalo our guide. Good vibes. 8 in minibus better to be smaller.

We had a wonderful experience. Our guide and driver arrived on time, he was experienced and knowledgeable but also gave us time to take pictures and explore time permitting. The. wineries were great and lunch was excellent! We met some lovely people in our group.
Márcio was great! We felt completely safe with him driving all day, and he knew so much about the Douro Valley and Portugal. You could really tell how proud he is of his country. The Douro Valley is absolutely incredible—honestly one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever seen. We loved the small group, the wine tastings, the food, and just had a really fun day. Highly recommend!

Our 10 hour tour of the Douro River valley was fantastic! Tour guide Ivo was amazing and informed us so much about the region! Our bus driver Joao made our transportation hassle free. If you are near Porto and like wine + history, this day trip will deliver!

Punctual pick up in a modern Mercedes Benz small van. Pedro our guide was brilliant - friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Both of the wineries were small, charming and not crowded, in beautiful settings. Pedro managed to secure us good seats on the river cruise, and we enjoyed a lovely lunch in a scenic remote location, that would never be found as a tourist. This tour represents fantastic value for money when you consider all the wine tasting, the river cruise, the 4 course lunch, and Pedro’s private guidance for an entire day. We had a great day and would gladly repeat - thank you.
This is a very nice experience and a good way to see the Duoro Valley for the first time. Our guide, Mauricio, was especially good giving us history and facts while also setting our expectations. He was knowleadgeable and pleasant.

Would highly recommend this tour. You will have a lot of laughs and a lot of wine, and get to experience Douro Valley right. Luis and Joao were fantastic, very knowledgeable, great driving, and super helpful. Seriously just book this tour and let them take care of everything!
