Qualitatively decreasing even with very small portion quantities (8 paccheri with 2 scampi as full portion) Costs further increasing
The boat is old and tired in need of a good cleaning and renovation. The staff are Excellent along with the food

Great food and staff BUT dated boat in need of refurbishment Halong Bay is becoming very crowded and when mixing 1-2 day travelers the night anchoring spots are very close to Halong

We booked a luxury 3-day/2-night Halong Bay cruise to celebrate New Year, carefully selecting the boat, itinerary, and amenities. We paid for two 5star cabins with balcony (one double, one twin), a specific itinerary, and even details like a welcome drink and fruit basket as part of the package. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what we expected. Upon arrival, we were placed on a completely different boat that was not at all the luxury level we had booked. Instead of a 5star double and a twin cabins with balcony, we received two double standard rooms without balcony, which was inconvenient for our group. The promised welcome drink and fruit basket was missing, and the itinerary was entirely different from what we had planned, skipping key highlights we had been looking forward to. Most frustratingly, we were not informed about any changes beforehand. When we reached out to the tour operator for clarification and a refund, they refused to discuss the matter or offer any compensation. This experience was deeply disappointing, especially as we had trusted this company to provide a special New Year celebration. I would strongly advise against booking with this operator, as they lack professionalism, transparency, and accountability. Save yourself the frustration and choose a more reliable provider for your Halong Bay trip.

It was great to enjoy all the activities over three days and have enough time to still relax. The lunches and dinners were superb and the staff lovely. Cocktail hour on the deck was relaxing. We enjoyed all the extras like squid fishing and cooking class and our kids loved jumping off the boat from a height.
What a way to spend three nights - cruising, relaxing, eating and drinking, some great activities. All in all a great trip with amazing staff and a nice boat to come back and relax on. Food was amazing too which helped to relax us all.
nice, helpful staff on the Majestic boat. the tour/activities seemed very consistent with what the other boats were doing - the boats generally run as a pack each day.
Lots of kayaking and cave viewing activities. They were very accommodating with my dietary requirements. Staff were very friendly. Handsome was great fun!

Lovely experience overall. The staff were very friendly, the facilities were clean, and there were fun activities arranged like kayaking, hikes, and squid fishing.

Super cruise. Would highly recommend to friends and family. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of well arranged activities and great to interact with locals. Rooms were clean and food was good. James (our agent) was always in contact with us / accommodating to our needs and wants.
