A great tour of Portugal’s vino verde and Douro Valley wine regions. This tour started at 11 AM and featured visits to two wineries where we not only sampled wines but were fed copious amounts of well-prepared fresh Portuguese food. We also had an hour-long boat ride on the Douro River. Felipe was our guide and he did a magnificent job of herding 40+ inebriated folks from many counties, our driver was also first rate. I hope that the wineries we visited sold some bottles to our group; they were so generous with both food and drink.

Would recommend the whole tour, the food and wine was amazing, learnt plenty and finished off with a lovely boat trip along the river. The valleys are so beautiful, really worth getting out of the city to experience the countryside and the river so glad we made this part of our Porto trip. Natalie and Lee :)

We had such a great day exploring the Douro Valley! The entire experience was well planned, relaxed, and gave us a chance to really enjoy this beautiful part of Portugal. One of our favorite stops was the gorgeous property overlooking the vineyards. The setting was absolutely beautiful, and we especially loved the dogs roaming around the property. It made the experience feel much more personal and authentic rather than just another stop on a tour. The wine tastings were wonderful, the boat ride through the Douro Valley was beautiful, and dinner was also excellent. Our guide did a terrific job throughout the day and made the whole experience fun and enjoyable. It was a full day with a great mix of wine, food, scenery, and time on the river. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal and a tour we would highly recommend!

Excellent tour, the guide was friendly, patient and informative. In terms of activities, I think it was an optimal amount for a one day tour.

What a fantastic day in the Douro Valley! We did the 1pm tour and visited two wineries, enjoyed plenty of great wine and food, and wrapped it all up with a beautiful boat ride and amazing sunset. Nothing felt rushed, and there was just the right balance of learning, laughing, eating, drinking, and taking in the scenery. Filipe was our guide and absolutely made the day. He was knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely funny, which made the whole experience feel more like spending the day with a friend who happens to know everything about the Douro. I recently relocated to Portugal, and this is definitely going on my list of places to take friends and family when they come to visit. Highly recommend!

A fun filled day in the Duoro Valley awaits you! Felipe was a wonderful guide one our journey. We boarded the bus, headed to our first winery and learned about Duoro wines. There was plenty of wine and hearty snacks. Next stop was the boat ride and more rose wine. Finally we went to the second winery, lots of wine and tapas to accompany the wine. The entire tour was well organized and every detail was planned for us. A high point in our time in Porto

We had the most amazing time on this tour! Our guide Felipe and driver Fernando made the trip so amazing. Felipe was so kind and knowledgeable, took us to 2 amazing vineyards. We had an amazing surprise at Paolo’s vineyard that we will never forget!!! The wine and the food were also amazing and both properties were gorgeous. Book this tour!!!!

We went on the afternoon and sunset tour and had a great time. Really delicious wines. some wonderful views along the Douro valley from the vineyards and the boat. Good local food and such an interesting selection of wines with very interesting and enthusiastic talks from the vineyard owners. Great day out and very good value. Special shout out to Pedro our guide who was so friendly, gracious and informative. Thank you! Would recommend this trip to anyone visiting Porto.

We booked this tour, run by a Day in Douro, and had an amazing experience; relaxed, informative and fun. Paulo, our guide and sommelier certainly knows his stuff and we learnt a lot. Highly recommended.
