A fantastic tour with Alex. He was our favourite tour guide of our whole trip. He kept the kids (9,12,14 boys) attention and showed us the highlights. Incredibly knowledgeable. Honestly we couldn’t spend much more time it was so hot. We were about an hour late for our tour and Alex spent an extra 20 min with us. Highly recommend Alex’s tour.

Fantastic- book early! Visited with two adults and kids aged 13 and 15. Alex was dynamic and interesting. He brought Pompeii to life for us. My only complaint- I should have booked 3 hours instead of 2! He filled the time perfectly, kept us all engaged and showed us a great overview.

Alex was a the best guide! We had many tours in Italy and I cannot say enough good things about Alex. He was there before us and communicated exactly where he would be. His tour was awesome and for having a 13 and 11 year old he did a wonderful job of making sure they were included and asked them many questions. He was very engaging and took us to parts of Pompeii where we felt like the only ones there. He knows that place very well and his knowledge is amazing! I wish we could have spent the day there with him because 2 hours was just not enough. When we left he did identify some other locations to see and we parted ways. For anyone reading this please know Alex is a wonderful guide and if you do not book with him you will miss out. This was my family’s favorite tour in Italy. Thank you Alex!

We loved our tour! Alex is very knowledgeable about Pompeii and his details and stories about the ancient city brought it to life for us. He knew where to take us - and when - to best avoid the crowds. Alex was very engaging and personable. My teen daughter said he was the best guide we've ever had. There really are no words to describe Pompeii and I don't think you can do it justice without a guide. Alex was a phenomenal tour guide. Hands down the best tour of the trip. If I could give him 6 stars I would. He was so good with the children (and adults!) and made the tour so much fun. We didn’t want it to end. Also being an English speaking family he spoke English fluently and so clear (my kids had difficulty with other English speaking tours with tour guides with thick accents). Alex was also so patient when we took a wrong turn and were running behind. He communicated well prior to the trip and the day of on WhatsApp. He made the tour very fun despite our very rainy day. Book your tour now with Alex before he fills up!

Wow! Alex is such a talented guide and our entire family loved our day. We did both sites (pompei with kids combined with Herculaneum in the afternoon). It was perfect. Definitely try to do both! My kids who are 10 and 8 learned so much and loved Alex who was so knowledgeable, passionate and fun. They will never forgot this day. It’s a great day of fun for the kids because they can explore and discover and there’s a lot of space/area to roam. Worth the day trip from Rome. As you can see from the photo the kids really loved Alex (and the adults too!). A++++

Alex was great with our guys of all ages, from 7 to 16, they were all thrilled! Like us adults from thetronde.
