ナポリ発スキップ・ザ・ライン・ポンペイ＆ヴェスヴィオ終日ツアー

It was very hot and our tour guide was doing her best to avoid other groups and lines. As a result of her trying to beat the crowds and most popular sights, the tour seemed a little rushed and disjointed. I did not feel like we got a great overview or storytelling of Pompeii itself. She allocated a full hour for lunch to allow us to cool off, even though I would’ve preferred to see some of the more popular sights. If we had a better storyteller guide, the experience would’ve been so much more impactful. I don’t know that she really contributed much to the Pompeii experience. Mount Vesuvius was cool and we were left to our own devices to explore the volcano. The bus was comfortable and nicely air-conditioned.

We had a family emergency and had to go home early. I contacted the tour provider about 10 hours in advance. Their policy is 24 hours, but I explained the emergency and asked for even a partial refund. I understand they have expenses which is why I don't expect the full amount back. They refused and asked for medical documentation from the hospital back home. I politely asked for an exception from Tour operator IAMME IA! - Gray Line Amalfi Coast for even a partial refund and they haven been nothing but difficult. Accidents and emergencies happen...but this company is not willing to work with me at all. I will never use them or Viator again.

The excursion was a good way to see two big landmarks outside of the Napoli. There was a separate guide for Pompeii and directions/transportation for hiking Vesuvius. The guide provided insight on the way to the mountain as well.

Organisation of the tour is perfect. Guide, Roberta, is wonderful. Knows a lot and tells a lot, with humor

Enjoyed our trip to Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius. Our guides were great! Patricia was super knowledgeable and informative about Pompeii and Max was helpful with tips for our hike and kept our group together and everyone knowing what they should be doing and when. We enjoyed our experience!

Incredible tour, but what made it even more interesting was the guide, Guglielmo! An exquisite person who, besides being very competent, was very nice and made us appreciate every minute there at the summit!

There was a heat advisory for rhe day of our tour. The Tour guide did not point out water taps or stores where water could be obtained. They know the area, they should have noticed the people and that they were struggling and pointed water out. Also, we were dropped off away from the port and told it was just over there.

Very interesting day tour to Pompeii and Vesuvius in an air conditioned bus. We left early in the morning and got to spend a couple of comfortable hours in Pompeii before the hottest part of the day. It was also not so crowded in the morning. At the end of the archeological site visit we had 1h lunch break. There is a recently opened restaurant with a set menu for 18€pp, but I went for a light snack and coffee in the cafe instead, which was also very nice. Mount Vesuvius was exciting. The climb up is easy enough and we had plenty of time to take it easy. The view is beautiful from the top and along the way. Bring comfortable footwear! Our guide Roberta was excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable and shared important and interesting facts in an engaging way.

In the heat of July this was by far the best way to approach a day trip from Napoli to both Pompeii and Vesuvius. No travel or ticket worries and an AC coach was great to have. Having a guide as knowledgeable as Roberta was invaluable and I would highly recommend her! It was a great experience - wear comfortable shoes and bring sunscreen and water! You will deserve that glass of wine on top of Vesuvius at the end of the day! Don’t hesitate to book!
