Tour was wonderful. From being picked up in front of our hotel, driving through the chaotic traffic of Napoli, to the tour itself, everything was fun. Our guide, whose name I forgot, was fabulous. He was full of knowledge and a lot of humor. We loved every minute of it. My only wish is that is that instead of free time outside of the museum I wish he would have told us we could spend that extra free time in the museum. It didn’t detract from the tour, it’s was a truly remarkable place and tour. Would highly recommend!

Everything went well, a very beautiful tour for those interested in history and the arts... The experienced and well-informed guide made the tour interesting... A little tip: don't forget to bring sunscreen, water, and a hat or cap...

It was very interesting and educational. Learned a lot! Our guide did a great job, despite the extreme heat and humidity.

A lot of walking and uneven pavers. Elderly visitors will have to use caution. Difficult to understand tour leader.

Guid was very knowledgeable and amazing to see Pompeii! Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes (don’t recommend flip flops) and bring water!

The instructions for the meeting place should include, not only "outside the cruise terminal", but also something like "between the two columns / guard stations". "Outside the cruise terminal" is too broad; there are too many people out there. The tour guide was late, and it was hard to know for certain we were in the right place. And if you are trying to find someone, it would also help to have the person wearing easy-to-identify clothing. It is never good to start the tour frustrated because one cannot find the tour guide. The tour guide was not easy to understand. While we appreciate English is not the first language, the tour guide (an older man, Italian native) did not engage the tour group. It was "here is this, and here is that" and then left us to see and after everyone saw it, he moved on to the next location. He did not offer enough free time, nor did he wait for us nor let us see inside the "museum", nor wait for us (nor show us) the restrooms. This was at the end of the tour. All he had to do is to make sure everyone was together. The impression I got was he could not get this over soon enough. The group needs to be smaller. Too many of us per tour guide. Not good customer interaction / support.

We did 4 hour tour starting in the morning. Pickup was convenient in front of hotel near Naples port region. Tour leader was fluent in at least 4 languages (wow!!). Once at Pompeii site, we were quickly organized into language specific tours. Guide was understandable, knowledgeable and considerate of the extremely temperatures by keeping our group in shade as much as possible. She also had a subtle sense of humor. Tour of ruins covered a good amount of the grounds without feeling rushed. Outside the ruins are plenty of options for food and refreshments. Return trip had a little confusion but the driver adapted and everyone was dropped off as expected.

Very well organized with pickup right at the hotel. Stephano was a very good guide, passionate about his subject. The whole family enjoyed the tour. Impressed by the quality of certain preserved items. Personally, I learned new things even with my knowledge of Latin history. The only catch is that they talk about a 4-5 hr visit here, while the visit is 2 hrs. They include transportation and the time to get the entrance tickets in that. Does not include the visit to Vesuvius.
