Most fun we've had in a long time! Mike is the best instructor and had us up surfing by the 3rd wave. His passion for surfing is infectious!!

Even if you have never done this you should definitely try it. Really fun experience and not as difficult as you may think.

What a wonderful experience. My partner and I were very nervous but the instructors did an amazing job making us feel safe and prepared. This has been our best experience ever in Hawaii!!! I can not recommend them enough. YOU WILL GET UP AND RIDE SEVERAL WAVES!!!!

My husband and I booked this last minute and we are so happy we did. One of the best things we did while on our honeymoon. Ivan was our instructor and he was amazing. He was great at demoing and explaining everything. Also great at giving advice to correct any mistakes we were making as we were getting on the waves. Highly recommend!

Great experience! Helpful for beginners. Was nice to have a smaller group.

We had a large group of 7 of mixed ages from 5th grade to adults. Everyone was able to stand at some point on the board. Our instructor, Sophie, was super helpful and amazing!! She was so awesome - she is the only reason I am leaving a positive review because she worked HARD! We enjoyed ourselves out in the water. Our pictures were pretty awesome too. Thanks for a great time!

The surf experience was great. The waves were perfect for learning. Both my son and daughter were able to get up on their boards and the photographer caught everything!

The surfing was fun but we did not have the best instructor, he was not super helpful especially if you are a first-timer like ourselves. He did not explain instructions very well and was not helpful once we were in the ocean what so ever. We actually had a local who helped us more. There was a photographer however and she was great. Overall I would not recommend this to someone or do it again.

This was a wonderful experience for my daughter, son-in-law, and four grandkids. The instructor was great! Everyone had a great time!!

We highly recommend using Maui Surf Shop. Our kids had never surfed before and their instructor Bear was amazing with them. He made sure they had a wonderful experience and over all it was fun for them.
