Pedro was my girls instructor! He was so awesome! So patient and so good with my little ones! They loved every minute! The pics were worth it! They wanted to go back! FYI they give u rash guard shirts. However we should have bought something to cover my kids legs. They did get the surf board rash. Overalll great experience!

First timer here. Pedro was the instructor. Group of 4. Pedro was very knowledgeable and patient. I got the basics I needed both in and out of the water. At one point, another instructor even helped Pedro to get me standing on the board. I definately need more practice. Rental on my own with Surf Club Maui would be $45. The hardest part was swimming back out to catch a wave, as it was tiring. I cant say enough about how pleased I am with this whole operation. They provided everything I needed for the lesson. All 4 Surf Club Maui people I encountered were happy doing their jobs and I didnt feel like just another tourist. Btw, the photographer captured a great shot of me.

Learning how to surf and also swim with turtles at the same time it’s an amazing experience. Our instructor Epes was amazing and offered us a 10/10 experience. Very kind and patience.

An amazing experience! Epes was a great teacher, patient, energetic and encouraging. Our group (4 of us) all had an amazing experience and were all surfing waves very quickly. Could not recommend enough!

My kids (ages 11 & 15) had an AMAZING experience with Action Sports (Surf Club Maui)!! They were able to get up on the board on the first try. It was really well organized and the surf instruction was incredible. Out instructor, Jonathan, was so patient and helpful. My kids loved every minute. He did such a great job teaching them, that they were able to get up on a surf board on their own the next day when we rented them. Highly recommend!!!

These guys were great. My daughters and I had a class with Turtle and he was excellent. It was the highlight of the trip for my daughters and it looks like it will cost me a return trip to Maui because they will not be stop talking about it.

Had an awesome family surf day! The instructors and staff were great- very helpful and friendly! The. photographer got some great photos too! We had a blast! One of our favorite days!!!

My young adult daughters wanted to experience surfing while in Maui. After some review of previous travel ratings, we settled on Action Sports Maui. We do not regret our choice. If I can get up on a board, anyone can. It was a great morning of surfing. What I appreciated about the lessons, is that we spent 95% in the water. The highlight was my daughters seeing their middle aged and “stocky” father surf. Our instructor, Alex, was engaging and attentive. He ensured that our excursion was memorable. Thank you for a great experience!
