We spent two hours discovering the history of the Municipal Market. Ariel, our tour guide, gave us a thorough history and tour of the market with a tasting of local market fare. It was delicious! I make my travel plans based upon food destinations and this tour was definitely worthwhile and I highly recommend this for anyone interested in a food tasting of Atlanta soul food. The tour highlight was a biscuit making session. This turned out to be a very fun experience and the biscuits turned out beautifully.

Courtney provided an exceptional tour, full of history, facts and fun. The tastings from the vendors were delectable and our bellies were full at the conclusion. All aspects of the two hours were truly a treat!
This activity was so much more than we expected! We learned a lot of history, got to try 3 different small plates of food, and we learned how to make exceptional biscuits! Our tour guide was a wealth of information, wonderfully engaging, funny, and inclusive. This was a super fun event to do with your partner, family, or friends!
